I ordered this for my fiancée. She has trouble balancing and uses a walker. She falls often when using a treadmill and with her balancing issues, a regular exercise bike was out of the question. This YOSUDA Recumbent Exercise Bike is perfect for her and she absolutely loves it. She is excited to be able to exercise again without worrying about falling. She is 4’11 and the bike is perfect with the seat in the closest position. She does add a pillow for the back because she likes sitting more straight. The recumbent bike is well-built and sturdy. Assembly was quick thanks to the seller sending a pre-delivery message with tips and a helpful video. The seat is comfortable and it is so quiet during use that you can barely hear it and it doesn’t interfere with watching TV while in use. Overall, this is a great recumbent bike and we couldn’t be happier.

You roll the dice when you purchase ANYTHING in life. Even with reading reviews from other people, everyone’s experience is going to differ.
For example, some reviews say it took an hour to get out of the box, with some saying they had to destroy the box to get it out. I didn’t experience ANYTHING of that. Start to finish…14 minutes. That includes getting it out of the box and undoing all package restraints (tape, styrofoam, zip ties, etc…)
From opening the box to final assembly and trying it out, 1hr 24 mins.
Incredible quality. Even though it’s light and easy to move, it does not feel like it’s cheaply made.
I’m pretty tall (6’2”) and I still had room to adjust the seat further back. Definitely comfortable.
There’s a 5 min video on YouTube to help with assistance in assembly. Very informative for that short amount of time. I used the included instructions more than I did the video.
Overall, we are really satisfied with our purchase.
My only complaint, is the monitor isn’t backlit. Unless I’m missing something

This is an expensive bike, …but I don’t mind if it’s worth it!
Pro’s: 1- Relatively easy to put together.
2- Good simple working bike.
3- Seems strong built.
Con’s: 1- No cup holder.
2- Seat could be more comfortable as its on the hard side (wish it had a jell type seat).
3- The settings dial has no back light, can be hard to see in low light ( would like a blue background)
4- Could have more bells and whistles.
5- The shelf for iPad could be longer and wider.

I had a regular Exercycle for many years but the seat was quite uncomfortable even though I tried different seats. This recumbent Exercycle solves that problem and makes it easy and comfortable to get a good workout in the comfort of my own home with entertainment via my devices.
Assembly was straightforward given I didn’t rush and tried to be careful in selecting the correct numbered bolts and nuts. The one place where I went awry was in assembling the main post holding the handlebars and display. To complete that assembly it’s necessary to connect electrical cables that track speed and pulse rate, and also that connects the knob that adjusts pedaling resistance. I know I make that resistance cable connection properly, but the adjustment wasn’t working. I had to disassemble the post to investigate and I found that the connection slipped together and probably was “slipped apart” when I stuffed everything back inside the post before finally screwing it together. So be especially careful when you put those connections back into the post to be sure assembly doesn’t inadvertently cause a problem.

I am a 69″ male in my 60’s, and I purchased this machine to perform the cardio portion of the Modified Levine Protocol. Thus far, I have used the exercise machine for 6 exercise sessions, mostly of 20 minute duration, employing various resistance levels. This machine is extremely well designed, and the manufacturing quality is high.
Since some reviewers reported assembly difficulties, I allowed plenty of time and double-checked each step. Assembly, including discarding the packaging material, required about 3 hours for me. Note the following tips: One hollow bar exists solely to sacrificially protect one machine leg during shipping. It should simply be discarded. As noted in the instructions, the pedal threads for one of the pedals are left-handed (so that it won’t unscrew during use).
I particularly like how the machine is quiet, stable, and compact. It is easy to move the unit: Simply lift up on bar at the rear of the machine, and it can be rolled on the rollers on the front. This does not require much strength.
The seat can easily be positioned to any arbitrary point in the adjustment range. I positioned the seat about 2″ from the maximum pedal distance. Depending on individual preference, users with an inseam is longer than 34″ might find the maximum pedal distance too short.
The “computer” is fairly basic, but it is easy to use. The pulse sensor seems to be quite accurate, generally reading within 1-2 bpm of my wrist-worn fitness tracker. Really like having the pulse information on the display (vs. having to check my fitness tracker).
The seat back is fixed, but I found the angle to be just right. However, I put a small cushion between the seat back and the small of my back, for additional lumbar support.
The machine has a wide range of resistance levels, and I had no difficulty finding enough resistance to quickly elevate my heart rate into exercise zone 2 with speed of about 15.
In short, I’m completely pleased with my purchase. I felt that I received an excellent value/cost ratio, and I would recommend this product.
