Received this watch a few days ago and I was pleasantly surprised at the look and workmanship. It performs as stated and so far, holds up to daily usage and getting banged around at work. The stopwatch works great and has a split time feature. I use the timer, hourly chime and alarm on a daily basis and they add a great functionality to the watch. You also have the convenience of setting two time zones. I work with my hands under water almost everyday without the fear of it failing. Overall, this is a great buy. Looking to get another one for my son.

My son used this TEKMAGIC watch while working as a lifeguard at a water park and it has been fantastic! It’s super easy to read, even in the bright sun, and simple to program with all the features he needed—stopwatch, dual time zones, and alarms. The waterproof design held up perfectly during all his shifts, whether he was on duty or diving into the pool. Great quality for a lifeguard watch that handles water, work, and everything in between!

This watch was TERRIBLE. It says it’s water resistant up to 100m. It is NOT. My son accidentally jumped in the pool with it, but immediately got out and took it off and we put it in rice. Nothing mattered, it died. He only had it one month! Don’t buy!

I’m a bit of a watch nut and I currently have eight digital watches, not to mention the analog ones. This watch most closely compares to my Timex Marathon I paid 18 dollars for, except the Marathon offers the same features for less money.
The good :
-Construction seems solid in the short term. Its a beefy thick plastic watch with a substantial band, reminiscent of a GShock.
Backlighting works well.
-Instant response to button pushes
-Buttons are well formed, consistent, and repeatable
-Timer countdown feature, great for lunch breaks!
-Beeper clearly audible
The bad:
-The interface is non standard. Some features and settings require a series of sequential button pushes. Its not like any digital watch I’ve ever used before and predict you WILL need to refer to the instructions. You can usually muddle through a typical Casio, Timex, or Armitron by experimentation but that will not work with this one.
-It appears to not have a year setting! At least I cant find it. I have to re-adjust the day of the month sometimes.
-And the main reason I am not happy with this watch… a pathetically narrow viewing angle. Just awful. As bad as it gets. Unless you align your wrist precisely to view, you will see all the segments, not just the active ones. This is why it reminds me of my Marathon. It has the same problem.
Overall, if you can suffer the crappy display, buy a Timex Marathon and save a few dollars. Its cheaper, more compact, just as well made or better, and has less quirks.

My first one lasted 6 years and multiple scuba dives. I mainly buy this watch for the excellent value and the large numbers on the display. If you’re older and need reading glasses, you’ll appreciate this watch. Keep in mind, you can’t replace the band, so this is a throw away watch. I only bought another one because the band broke. For the price, you can’t beat it!
