Legendary for being extremely accurate. Small and easy to carry. A quick and easy one-time setup process adjusts the distance measurements for your own body and stride. (The longer your legs, the more ground you cover with each step.) And Big Brother Google can’t track you anymore. This is the one to get.

I use this everyday. The device is well made, easy to read and works great. The set up was a little challenging but after that, all was good. I like that they give several ways to view ‘set up’ instructions. There’s an instruction manual and video. They even have customer service online, phone and email. I wish it was a little smaller but I’m used to the size now. I would recommend this for walkers that want a manual pedometer that doesn’t need a phone app. It has all the features I wanted too.

This pedometer is very accurate when clipped on. I found it was overcounting when kept in my pocket. The best feature though is that it does not need to be charged. I have had if for a month now and have done over 350,000 steps. It’s very motivating !

Bought this after some research….easy to set up , clear to read. I believe their description of the technology being accurate. If I was taking long walks or runs, this would clearly be great…able to track miles, etc.
BUT and this is a significant but for me.–I just want to see how many steps I am taking per day. Recovering from an illness and injury has affected my gait and walking is slow and sometimes painful. I am building back from 1200 steps per day to a goal of 10,000/day.
This device has a built in feature called “10 step error prevention feature”. You must take 10 uninterrupted steps in order for the pedometer to start tracking steps. Its purpose is to prevent random non-walking movements from being falsely counted as steps. But this means it doesn’t count all your steps if you happen to pause during the 10-step start up.
I just finished an hour of constant vacuuming and the device gave me 130 steps. (My Apple Watch which I don’t consider all that accurate recorded 900). If walking and running were the only steps I wanted to count this would be useful. But I want to track ALL steps. Realizing that some may be random movement but at least getting credit for moving and walking around the house.
This is the wrong device for me and the most irritating part is that they don’t tell you about this feature until you either watch their set-up video or read into the back of the manual. And there is no way to turn this off.
So maybe this is a cool, useful feature for you but in my situation it is very non-motivating,

Okay, I’ll review the device but you may not like everything that I have to say. To start with, I like the device. It is small and unobtrusive and settings don’t easily get changed. It appears to be more accurate than the last pedometer that I had. The last one was larger and more ‘clunky’ and got settings easily changed and only worked from a belt/waistband location. I have not checked the previous one with this one in a side-by-side test but plan to do so in the near future
Being able to get an indication of the number of steps from waist, pocket or lanyard is very convenient but the accuracy seems to be lacking for other than waistband. Accuracy from a lanyard averages 85 – 88% at best so that is good for generalization at best. Pants pocket location appears to be slightly more accurate than the lanyard but not much.
I am constantly participating in cardiovascular rehabilitation due to an Aortic valve replacement. I exercise on 4 different exercise machines and walk on a treadmill. The treadmill readings are okay but the rest are total failures. An Airdyne gives no reading at all from waistband, pocket, lanyard or clipped to my shoe. The same holds true for 3 semi-recumbent pedal machines (Nustep, Sci Fit and Biodex). No readings at all from waist, pocket, lanyard or clipped to the shoe. I noticed the same behavior from an Elliptical Trainer. No reading at all. The only test on the Elliptical was done from the waistband position and may be associated with the multi-step error deletion (10 step error prevention feature). After completing an exercise session on the Airdyne or one of the semi-recumbent machines I noticed that it took a long interval before steps started counting again. This is a good feature actually, I’m glad that it is there but I wish that it was more accurate. It appears that this feature is applied every time you stop or at rest for 5 minutes or longer. When attached to the waistband it may take 40+ steps before it starts registering and only counts 10 to 15 steps at most so I’ve started calling it the multi-step error deletion feature. From a lanyard this deletion can be well above 40 or 50 steps (I lost track while trying to count the steps manually).
Setup was a bit of a problem for me (small buttons and large hands don’t mix well) but that isn’t a big negative. I follow directions well so I just did a full reset and restarted and got through it in a matter of minutes. I do keep hitting the Mode button when attaching it to the waistband but that doesn’t seem to effect the accuracy or operation at all. That couldn’t be said of the last pedometer that I had.
It would be nice to be able to upload the information to my computer, laptop or phone without having to manually enter it but that isn’t a negative, just a nice to have feature.
Overall, I’d have to give you a thumbs up on this product. There are some things that I don’t care for but I don’t see them as being nearly as bad as those that have been related to me concerning the wrist wear style. Most of those that I’ve been told about wound up in the junk drawer gathering dust.

Love the bright color option so I won’t lose it. Easy to use. I went on you tube for video instructions. It resets every night at midnight but you can look at previous days tally to keep track of your step progress.

Looking for a pedometer so I don’t have to carry my phone around all day. Reviews of this unit marks accuracy highly for a non-blue tooth/ smart device. Although on a relative basis so far this over counts my steps by about 20% vs my phone app regardless of whether the stride length is 21″ or 34″ when placed in my pocket next to my phone, the margin of error drops to 3% when placed in it’s clip then attached to my waist, so you have to wear this device correctly. In terms of setup, it’s pretty simple if you follow the instructions, some of the negative reviews on here made me laugh. Ill continue testing against my phone app for a week or so before fully switching over

I almost returned this because I couldn’t get it out of the very hard plastic that it comes in. Scissors wouldn’t work. Someone in Whole Foods used a cutting razor and got it open for me.
Once I figured out how to use it, which takes some work, I love it. I’m glad to know how many steps I’m taking.

Comes with detailed, understandable instructions (such a rare joy these days) and a couple of explanatory videos are available online. I decided to go with this to simplify my tracking and get rid of the bangs and whistles. Easy to wear. I use the clip and the unit seems sturdy and well made. I would be happy to recommend it.

Easy to set up – just takes a couple of minutes. Seems to be fairly accurate in counting steps. Resets step counter at midnight ready for the next day.

This is one of the best pedometers I have used. The east set up and the amount of information provided while walking is unbeatable. Setup was easy. I measured my stride with my wife’s help from heel to toe, entered the measurement and began walking. This pedometer is accurate, and I have lost about ten pounds since purchasing. Price is economical.
