wasn’t made for charge 5 , was made for older model and modified

I always rate something based on its price (not including sales, which are sometimes not really discounts). So, based on that this band is pretty good. The double metal loop are solid and work surprisingly well. The band itself feels oddly thin and light compared to how heavy the metal bits are, but it’s not something I’d classify as bad. Overall I like the band for this price.
The bad:
1. The holes in the band look to be simply punched into the material. They’re even and round, but theyrrr not reinforced. This means that the hole I’ve been using for less than a month is starting to stretch and fray a bit.
2. The plastic ends that attach to Charge 5 connect perfectly fine, but the connection is not 100% tight. This means that there’s a bit of a rattle every time I tap the screen face that isn’t very pleasing – it makes it sound cheap. Good news, though…the band IS cheap!
I was tempted to send the band back, but I’ve gotten used to not having rashes and a stinky arm due to the Fitbit band. I can deal with the above negatives for the price. I honestly would pay doubly this if it was made a little better.

I bought this band after receiving my new Fitbit Charge. It was a great value for the money, nicely made, and very comfortable to wear. I wasn’t too confident that the plastic loops would hold up, but they have. The color was exactly as described and hasn’t faded even after wearing it 24/7.

The clip to connect to the Fitbit Charge 6 was loose & the marital was low quality and caused skin irritation.

An sich ein gutes Armband, dass ich gut vertrage, allerdings löst sich ständig das Band von der Uhr und somit fällt die Uhr ab. Das hat so keinen sinn.

I got this as a device to track my running with and it truly sucks. It constantly loses the GPS connection and won’t connect to Google Maps unless you have it very loose on your wrist. When you wear it loose on your wrist it won’t be able to give you a heart rate.
It sometimes will show an SPO2, but how accurate is questionable. It cannot give you a VO2 max. During a run if you stop for a street crossing and it takes a minute for the light to change, it may or may not realize you have started running again.
This morning I took my large dog on an early walk two thirds of the way through the walk it realized I was moving. This is the absolute WORST fitness device on the market. If you are only somewhat interested in your fitness and you occasionally go for a walk, it is cheap enough to ignore the downside. PS Most of the features you want will cost you another $10 a month. It is a Google product and they do not care about it or you. I am sending mine back.

For my work dive watches, I’ve always went with the orange ballistic nylon band. As you can see… with my current dive watch, the orange has faded rather dramatically! I went with a similar watchband for the fitbit my kid gave me recently, and it fits me perfectly in every way!
.
In the pic, you’ll see my dive watch, my fitbit with new band and the old band it replaced. I have large wrists and the orange band has plenty of length for a secure fit, although not long enough to go over a wetsuit/drysuit sleeve (although there would be no reason to wear it like that anyway… hahaha).
.
I read reviews and understand some folks have had issues with the holes widening after some time, but I can fix this by melting the holes enough to prevent fraying and likely keep them from enlargening.
.
I also don’t care if the black wears off of the metal parts. I just care that they don’t rust and fall apart.
.
So far, I really like the fit and feel of the band, and I suspect it’ll make me just as happy as the more robust dive watch bands I have used over the years.
.
The latching to the fitbit seems very secure, and I’ve had no issues with either one, to date.
I only wear the fitbit to track sleeping, and am planning on wearing it to my workouts and for my cold immersions into our local bay. I’ll be keeping an eye on the band for these other activities as well.

These are very nice bands for the price. I’ve purchased four (3 different colors) of them in the last two years. Yes, the holes have stretched a bit and they are not a snug fit to the Charge 5 but I have not experienced any bands disconnecting yet. The color on the black and the green bands have not faded. The orange band has faded a bit.
I am very rough on them. I do a lot of yard work and gardening with them on. Consequently, I get them very dirty and they are washed very frequently, sometimes. daily in the summer in dish soap. I wear my fit bit 24/7 except when I shower. The metal hoops also have some wear on them also. I feel that they have held up extremely well for the price I paid. I have just placed an order for three more. They are on sale! How can you beat that!

Used these bands religiously with my Charge 5 over the years. Charge 5 died, time for a 6. Upgrade go to swap the band over and pop. Off the band falls from the Fitbit clips. Ok it’s a used band, time to order a new one. Buy a new one go to put it on and guess what. Falls off sleeping, falls off even just twisting my wrist. Back to the factory band and hasn’t fallen apart in over a week. The tabs look a tiny bit smaller than the tabs on the factory band but it’s enough to make a difference. If you have a 5 these are amazing. Haven’t had luck with 6s.

I was happy to find a nice band to replace the factory Charge 6 band. I loved the fit, feel, and quality of this band at first. Used it for one day and it came disconnected from my Fit Bit a few times. Not worth losing my device over. As much as I wanted to like it, I returned it.

I’ve gone through four other bands that keep falling off. It’s really annoying to find your Fitbit missing after chopping wood. I dug through snow and wood chips to discover the tracker’s screen became pitted.
Never had that issue with this band. I like the nylon fabric as it’s easy to clean.
Over all: great band.

Bought for a Charge 5, and it worked well. I enjoy the feel of the band and it’s generally sturdy. My Charge 5 broke so I upgraded to a Charge 6 and this falls off every three minutes. Do not get this band if you have a Charge 6!! I’ve switched back to the original plastic band as this one isn’t to be trusted.
