Have not gotten them wet so no comment on water resistance.

The stopwatch does exactly what we need it to do, just be a stopwatch. We have had previous stopwatches that have had several different modes and they created problems at the wrong time.

I mistakenly ordered Accusplit stopwatch 605 when stopwatch 601 was my desire, a poor product description caused the error. I sent the stopwatch to Accusplit on 7/3/2024 and UPS stated it would take a week to ship. I phoned Accusplit and learned the watch was to ship on 7/23/2024. As of 8/4/2024 I am waiting for the watch. I am made about the slow response.

BLUF – It has one job. Keep time for a single event. No splits, no multi-lanes, no cumes. It delivers in spades.
• Starting and stopping, the button gives tactile feedback with the near-silent “click” of a well-designed, solidly-seated button. No squeaks or rocking back and forth. This is close to an analog stopwatch’s familiar mechanical click start/stop as you’re going to get in a digital stopwatch.
• The familiar 8-segment LCD is used for the minutes, seconds and 1/100th seconds. Large and easily readable – 15mm tall, 5mm wide. (Roughly the size of a 72-point Helvetica letter f on a laptop screen)
• CAVEAT EMPTOR: otal time according to the package is 10 hours. In reality it displays up to 9:59:59.99 before it rolls back to 00:00:00. That’s fine. I’ll give Accusplit the 1/100th of a second based on the rest of this stop watch’s pluses.
• The orangutan-like hand holding the stopwatch in the pic above not withstanding, it’s a perfect size and weight, and isn’t covered in co-molded rubber/soft-touch paint.
• At at 59:58:99, the hour rolls to a small (3mm) Arabic numeral in the upper lefthand corner of the display. This is perfectly fine for me and likely most of you.
• If I had one wish for this lovely, a glowing/backlight display would make this useable on a dark film set. But its lack of lighting isn’t even enough for me to deduct a fraction of a star.
Net net: This is the one you’re looking for. Buy it and move on to more important things.

Works well and looks good. One star less, because it is unclear to me why you have two start/stop buttons that do the same thing. I would have expected them to drive two different timers, which would be handy, but they don’t – just one timer.

Battery still lasting 2 years later and I use it A LOT. There are times when the button is accidentally pushed and it’s timing for 48 h straight. High quality item.

Needed simple stop watch for volunteers to time runs. No need for laps, splits, alarms and whatever. These are very user friendly with just a start/stop button (2 of them) and a reset button – no confusion. Added bonus is the large LED readout, easy on the eyes. Nice size to fit in the hand. Reasonable price – was a good buy.

This a simple stop watch. It times events. It does not do splits, keep dates or sound alarms. It starts and stops at the push of a button.
