The stop watch works as advertised. It has not malfunctioned yet and it is built okay but I would not want to drop it on a hard surface because I think it might not come out on top. Ya, that is the pro for this write-up and now the con. Could someone make a inexpensive stop watch that has a OFF switch. Is that asking to much? I can’t stand it when I can not turn off a device. That would prolong the battery life about 10 times most likely. I’ll bet the company that makes this stop watch is in cahoots with the battery companies. Enough said on this one.
Amazon Customer –
I know this manufacturer and model is an excellent watch with an excellent warranty-5 years with no proof of purchase needed. But this “new” watch was delivered to me 7 months after the 5 year warranty expired. Obviously it had been sitting on the shelf for a very long time before being shipped from Forestry Suppliers, Inc. for Amazon. I did not discover this until taking the item out of the package and am hoping Amazon with still take the item back. It is very bad business to ship an item like this as new that should have been sold at a substantial discount.

If you’re looking for a really great basic stopwatch, go no further. It’s cool looking in black and yellow, has large numbers, is very easy to use, deadly accurate and comes with a CR 2032 lithium battery. You can’t go wrong for the price either.

This is a review of the Accusplit AX750 Ultimate Lane Timer.
This stopwatch does not work like a normal stopwatch. First, both of the ‘ear’ buttons do the same thing.
Second, Once the timer has started, pressing either stop button gives what most would call a ‘lap’ time. The timer keeps running internally. Press stop again and you get another lap time. Press the middle button, and you can see the running timer again. I guess that is what “always showing cum timen” in the product description meant!
So if you are doing something where the timer actually needs to stop and then resume, you can’t do that with this stopwatch.
Also, to reset the timer, you need to hold the button down for 2 seconds.
I can see where these features might be useful, but for Roller Derby, they are not.

Finally, a stopwatch that doesn’t try to be your calendar, wristwatch and alarm clock as well. Just an easy to use stopwatch. Nice buttons, and a large, clear display.

Buttons are big and allow for fast reaction time. They do not stick. The read-out is nice and large thanks to the single line read-out. Splits can be captured, but the clock continues to run. Another click will return the watch to elapsed time. Resetting the clock requires holding either the left or right button down for about two seconds.
The watches are made out of plastic and there is little shock resistance. But, we have yet to break one from dropping it. We have found that some overzealous timers push the buttons down too hard and actually break the release action on the button. That isn’t normal wear-and-tear, but it has happened on a few of our Accusplit watches, and we replaced them with the AX Pro model.
Overall, I can recommend this watch as the perfect lane timer.

Used this watch for a two day swim championship and never missed a time. The buttons are the best I have used.
