   I received this 3-in- a few days ago, and after setting it up been using it on and off for the past 2 and a half. Got it because I got tired of running in the snow/rain and not ready to go back to a gym just yet.

   Assembly – 4/5

   Not complicated, just fairly time consuming. Nothing that can’t be handled by one person. Instructions are detailed and straight forward. All parts are numbered. Only recommendation would be to have a ratchet and socket set handy even though tools are included. It helps expedite the build and able to tighten things down more than the included wrench.

   Final construction – 3/5

   A little wobbly. Even with everything tightened down, the frame likes to flex. Also, bolts on the feet like to work themselves loose and need occasional re-tightening. I might grab some thread lock over the weekend, see if it helps. Also, the pedals are cheap plastic. As these are high stress/flex points, this could be a long term problem.

   Motion – 3.5/5

   The bike portion is fine, the seat and pedals are easy to adjust and motion is ok. However, for the elliptical portion, motion is limited and very narrow, like trying to run up really small, shallow steps. But overall, motion is smooth.

   Don’t hesitate ordering because of the lower price, this really is an excellent and affordable piece of home exercise equipment! Far exceeded my expectations. It took some time to assemble, but was not difficult by myself ( I’m a 50+ woman, handy but not a mechanic) Tools are included. The instructions were primarily clear diagrams in steps, and all loose parts were arranged and attached to a clearly labeled sheet of cardboard. I didn’t have to waste time sorting a box or bag full of parts, and try to guess which part was which. A couple of Prime movies, a glass of wine and Presto! The equipment runs smoothly, as well as much higher ticket items I’ve had in the past. I have it in front of a TV and it is quiet enough I can watch news or movies without needing headphones or disrupting neighbors. Also, you really can change from one form of exercise to another on-the-fly with no parts to adjust. I am really pleased with this very nifty exercise equipment! Even easily arranged a surface to hold my coffee mug or water bottle, TV remote, phone. I highly recommend this 3-in1 Trio Trainer plus 2! (even had a couple of friends order one after they tried mine out)

   I was excited to get this to start working out. It took about 3-4 hours to put together at a leisurely pace, all the parts were there, however, the plastic was cheaply made, some of the screws did not fit into place well/were not flush when fully assembled, and the magnetic resistance sounds damaged (as if you were sharpening a knife on a grinding wheel)
   I would be quite grateful if I could contact the seller about getting this fixed via a technician or to see if there’s something that can be done about this order.

   Edit:
   Came back to make sure that it’s a 5 star. Customer service was on point. It was confirmed a broken braking system inside that created the noise. The new unit worked seamlessly.

   My unit was delivered by UPS in great condition. I couldn’t lift the box, so I unpacked it and carried in the parts. The only problem I found was a tiny slash in the seat fabric that doesn’t affect use.

   The instructions looked intense, but the parts are all labeled left/right and the hardware is very well packaged and organized. The wrench tool included is junk (bonus! You get TWO of them!) I had to use real tools to tighten the nuts. The most important part of the instructions is to hand tighten first and only tighten with tools when all the parts are in place. I applied this rule for each set of instructions so I did not have to go back and tighten everything at the end. I noticed that all of the complaints I had read about the instructions had been noted in the manual I received, usually in italics.

   I was able to build the entire machine in two sessions of about two hours each with the “help” of one wild kitten. I am pretty well experienced in putting things together. I do not recommend hiring a kitten to help.

   The unit wobbled a little when I first tried it out, but I added a set of pads instead of a mat and that helped a lot. You can also level the front legs.

   I really like the variety of built in programs and the ability to switch from one mode to another without stopping. There is a shelf to set a tablet, phone or TV remote. I enjoy seeing my progress in the workout program so I hung a TV on the wall across the room instead of blocking the screen. All of the computer functions work as described.

   I was able to set up my machine in a small bedroom without overpowering the room. It’s very easy to move around the room. I had been concerned about owning something that might be very difficult to move in the future and I am not concerned about that with this unit.

   There is no water bottle holder, so I set a stool next to the machine. You also need the back of the machine to be near an electric outlet.

   Overall, I am thrilled to have one piece of exercise equipment that offers so many options. My previous workout equipment was a small elliptical that cost about twice as much and was not any better quality. For home use, this is a fantastic option!
