I’ve used a chest strap for years and wanted something more compact. This small device has worked perfectly for almost a year and still going strong. Comfortable and stays secure while mounted just below my elbow. My more expensive chest strap is now history.

I purchased this heart monitor because the original Peloton one I had was very glitchy and only lasted 2 weeks!!! I bought this as a replacement, I am extremely happy with it, it connects flawlessly, is rechargeable, no issues what’s so ever. I strongly recommend this heart rate monitor over the Peloton one for use with Peloton bike

My old Scosche Rhythm+ 2.0 Armband Heart Rate Monitor broke after a few years, so I needed a new heartrate monitor to use with my Peloton Bike (and Peloton app on my ipad). I was reading some recent reviews and talk to some friends and the new Scosche bands they said was having issues connecting or dropping out, so I tried this. After a month of use, i’m loving it. It connects easily and the battery last longer than my previous heartrate monitor. The only improvement would be if the band was not a velcro band, I prefered the Scosche band instead. But other than that, for strictly Peloton workouts it is great!

Seen alot of the reviews about battery life. So far have not seen any issues and pretty happy with the ease of use and good readings on my heart rate. The compatibility with peleton app and bike has been seamless.

I could not get it to sync up with the app. The exercise equipment would not read it either.

I have been using chest straps for years. Getting tired of my non running neighbor asking me why I am wearing a bra strap. So tried this armband. Please see graph where I wore Coospo and Garmin forerunner 965 (uses optical sensor-not much better than a random number generator) and Garmin chest strap (recording data to my bike computer I held in my hand). There is a is a 5 to 10 second delay in the change of heart rate when you change your pace, but unless you’re doing many short intervals, doubt would notice. The time spent in each heart rate zone was about the same between the chest strap and the armband. So, although the delay is a slight issue, definitely acceptable enough for me and much more comfortable.

Fairly inexpensive, and works great. Easy to pair, lightweight and lasts many hours. Accurate HR, and strap is easy to use. Hardly know I’m wearing it.
Of course you need some sort of computer to pair it to…

Worked right out the box. Simply pressed the on button then went to Ant+ on my Coros Pace 2 and it quickly and easily paired. Strapped the sensor around my forearm, just below my elbow. It was a snug but comfortable fit. It did take a bit for the sensor to register an accurate resting heartrate of around 50bpm. At first It read 100+ bpm and I hope that isn’t an issue in the future. From the time the run began to the time it ended the HR Sensor was remarkably accurate, as it seemed to respond instantly to my increase in relative effort. The sensor on my Coros Pace 2 was all over the place, and in many cases was glaringly inaccurate. I will monitor the effectiveness of the Coospo over time and will adjust my review if needed.
Update: After using for a month it does indeed have random and spastic heartrate data from time to time. For example, jogging downhill and it’s saying I’m at threshold heartrate. I have to reset the sensor and it usually fixes it to a more accurate reading. It’s still more accurate than my smart watch but it isn’t perfect.

I was looking for a replacement for the standard heart rate monitor that goes round your chest. This is an ideal alternative. Comfortable to wear, it connects quickly, has a good battery life, and provides accurate readings. The straps are well designed and easily removed for washing. Great product.
