I like to use a heart rate monitor when I run; the Runkeeper app sync with it and tells me what my heart rate is as I go. So far, I have used this Coospo monitor on two runs and I am impressed. It paired with the Runkeeper app easily and seems to be very accurate. I compared results with my Apple watch and it came within one beat per minute (122/123) for two three mile runs. I also like that it is rechargeable and not battery powered; much more convenient. Overall, I believe that this is an excellent heart rate monitor and should be considered if you are looking for one. Highly recommended.

I have owned one of these monitors previously and it is hands down my favorite HR monitor. Easy to charge and very accurate. Lasts for quite a long time (10+ hours in my experience). the magnetic charger works seamlessly. It looks great although I do get accused of looking like Iron Man when I’m wearing it under my shirt as there is a bright green light right in the middle of your chest when wearing which is clearly visible under shirts. The snaps can be a little tight and difficult to click the monitor onto the strap but I guess that means it’s very secure when attached. Highly recommended.

I got this to supplement my smart watch. The watch is good, but my funky heart rhythms can make heart rate difficult to measure – a sensor based on electrical signals (like this product) is simply more accurate than the optical tricks the smart watch uses to read your pulse through your wrist.
With the protocols it supports, this monitor can mate with numerous fitness apps. I’ve used it successfully with Heartool, Heart Rate Monitor, and Polar Beat, all from the Google Play Store.
Not much to using it: moisten the terminals on the adjustable band, put it on, and snap the monitor unit onto the snaps. The monitor powers on when it detects your skin resistance after you snap it in. Once it’s on, your phone can pair with it and start monitoring.
The snaps are strong, as they should be: you’ll need some pressure to snap on, and a bit of finger prying to snap off. Between uses, the monitor unit charges in a small cradle.
The monitor is small… nobody will notice you’re wearing it, unless they happen to see the small flashing light through your shirt.
Bottom line: it does the job and captures good information. Happy to have it.
