First ever Amazon review. I bought the 45″L Racerpad, I think. The model isnt clearly listed. First one that arrive with a motor issue, made an awful loud clicking noise. Was super bummed at first thinking it would be a nightmare to replace, but called the customer service phone number through Deer Run, and was asked to email a picture of my serial number and video of the issue. Heard back within a business day and was told they’d replace the defective machine for free. New machine arrived withing 4 days, and so far works as expected. It’s compact, quiet, good speed range for walking, an easy to setup and move. Only downside is having to figure out how to discard the defective machine but not the biggest issue. Overall pleased assuming it holds up!

I recently purchased the DeerRun 2024 Raceable Walking Pad, and I am happy with its performance.
The treadmill is quiet. It’s ideal for office or room settings, I like that I can switch between walking or jogging based on my energy levels.
It was ready to go straight out of the box, The compact design makes it easy to move from room to room, and it fits perfectly under my desk.
he accompanying app tracks my progress, and the remote control is super convenient for adjusting speed without interrupting my work.
Overall, the DeerRun 2024 has exceeded my expectations. It’s a well-built, versatile, and user-friendly treadmill that keeps me active even on busy days. Highly recommended for home or office use!

Love being able to get my walking done even when it’s not comfortable outside. I’ve paired it with a walking desk, so I can participate in my online classes without sitting through each one.
It goes fast enough I could get a light jog going if I wanted, but I don’t know if it’d hold up to a lot of running or not. I want it to last a long time, so I’m not going to be using it for more than brisk walking. It’s done great so far, 2 months into having it. The tension on either side of the belt does need to be adjusted to make sure it doesn’t drift to the side and wear down the belt, but that was easily solved. They send a tool to use for that. The remote control works great, I just keep it on the wall right next to the treadmill. You can see it hanging in the photo.
The belt is a little narrow, so if you’re really wide, it’ll be hard to navigate it at a brisk walk. I’m 150 lbs at 5’2, with wide hips, and it’s just barely wide enough for me. I’m used to it now, but the first couple of times I used it I had to pay attention to keeping my feet in the parameters. It’s also a bit short, so long strides aren’t an option.
I think my only personal complaint is that I can’t pause the time to step away for a second for water or bathroom break, then resume my workout with the ongoing stats. If you pause the time/belt, you end the workout and have to start the stats over.
For the amount I paid for it, it’s well worth it to me. It provides the ability to be active when I don’t feel like leaving the house,

One thing I wish I noticed before purchasing: It doesn’t incline!
If I had known, I probably would have picked a different model, but despite that, I still use and love it.

The price makes it worth tolerating some of the negative issues I mention below like the sound, lack of incline, and the stats resetting.
S P E E D
I typically walk at 2.8 mph or lower, so the max speed isn’t an issue for me. It’s perfect for casual walking while working or watching TV.
L E N G T H
At 5’2”, the length of the walking pad is just right for me, but my 6’2” friend said it feels a bit short for his stride. So, if you’re taller, this could be something to consider.

The walking pad feels sturdy overall, and I appreciate that it was ready to use right out of the box—no assembly required. However, sometimes it glitches if I press the start button too quickly, and I have to restart it.

Moving it around is a bit of a hassle. While it’s not overly difficult, I frequently switch between walking and sitting while working, and I wish there was an easier way to move it. Also, I don’t have a convenient place to hide it, so it stays out in the open when not in use.
S A F E T Y
There’s no emergency stop feature, and the sides of the pad are small, so if I need to take a quick break, I either have to jump off or turn it off completely, which can be inconvenient.
S T A T S
Another annoying thing is that the stats reset when you hit pause, so your time and distance disappear. It would be nice to pause it for a quick break and pick up where I left off. But it’s not a dealbreaker.
S O U N D
It’s loud when you turn it on, and the beeping every time you increase or decrease the speed is pretty annoying. I hate the startup sound, but it’s not horrible—just one of those things you put up with.

Because of the price, I tolerate the negatives. I honestly love how easy it is to get my steps in, especially living in Arizona, where it’s too hot to walk outside most of the year.
Would I buy it again? Maybe. Probably not this exact model, as I would prefer one with an incline, but that’s on me for not noticing that part. When I was shopping for a walking pad, it was overwhelming, and there were a lot of options available. My main concern was how it would feel while walking on it, and it’s sturdy so overall I’m happy with my purchase.

I love to walk because it’s easy to stay consistent with it, especially since I have a dog and she loves her daily walks. Sometimes though, when the weather is poor, I’m not able to get all the steps in I’d like and was looking for something that wouldn’t take up a lot of space but would allow me to get those steps in at my convenience and comfort level. I had been researching “walking pads” for a while and saw the previous reviews for this brand and ended up getting a great deal on Prime Day. It is really well-packed, easy to set up and I store it under my bed. It is really quiet (they provide you with lubricant for the tread as well) so basically plug it in and go! Great quality and a piece of equipment I am already getting use from as the heat/humidity amp up. Highly recommend.
