I am stuck at my desk all day long so this is a nice addition to get the blood circulating in my legs. I have an under the desk treadmill too but it can be difficult to type when I am really trying to concentrate on my work. This is better and I like that I can use this on meetings and it is so quiet. Do I get better exercise than the treadmill? No but I do feel it in my thighs and calves and most important is to get by blood circulating.
I really like the remote and able to make adjustments on the fly without stopping and bending down. The function button is cool and the machine starts on its own and you just have your feet on there and it moves for you. This makes it a bit easier to concentrate on typing since I do not have to worry about applying force but I still get the blood circulation. I can’t really say what additional health benefit there is to the function but it is definitely better than doing nothing. You also need to supply your own AAA batteries for the remote.
A nice bonus is the non-slip fabric it comes with to place underneath. I can keep this under my desk and still have plenty of room for my legs whereas with my treadmill I have to keep moving it out so I am really preferring this over that. It does come with some straps to keep your feet in place but I do not use them since they are not actually part of the pedals. Overall, I am very fond of this elliptical.

I used to have an elliptical similar to this but it was for standing. It became too difficult to maintain my balance on it so I had to donate it. I’ve seen sitting elliptical machines on tv but they are too expensive. This machine ($140 less a $40 coupon at the time of this writing) is much more affordable. Here I can sit while working my legs for strength and circulation without worrying about falling. As for size, the listed package weight is 8.1 kilos or 17.8 lbs. The packaging is a box inside a larger shipping box with 2 large pieces of Styrofoam. I would estimate the packaging as 1 1/2 to 2 lbs so I think the elliptical is approximately 15 lbs. For reference, a gallon of milk is approx. 8.5 lbs. I have hardwood floors so the only time I lifted it was to get it out of the boxes and then I just pushed it into my office. (It did not scrape or damage the floor.) Now that it is in place, I don’t expect to move it. My desk has a center drawer and I found my knees hitting the underside of the desk as I used the machine. Since my desk is perpendicular to the wall, I simply pushed the elliptical against the wall, next to my chair and it’s a perfect setup. I can just swivel my chair and pedal then swivel back and work. So far I’ve only used the pedals manually (barefoot is fine). Next I’ll plug it in and use the remote for a power assist. The remote doesn’t come with batteries. The machine does include a pair of bands if your feet slid on the steps and a non-slip sheet if the machine slips on your flooring. All-in-all I think this is a good value and a good way to get your feet and legs moving, strengthening and blood circulating in a safe way. Recommended

For those of us whose work and hobbies keep us glued to a chair, finding time for exercise can feel impossible. The under desk elliptical has been a worthwhile change to my daily activity, seamlessly integrating physical activity into my otherwise sedentary routine.
No longer do I need to carve out precious time in my day for a dedicated workout. Now, while responding to emails or working on projects, I can simultaneously engage my lower body, improving circulation and burning calories. The low-impact motion is gentle on my joints, yet still provides a satisfying level of exercise.
The standout feature for me is undoubtedly the remote control. It allows for effortless adjustments to resistance or speed without interrupting my workflow. The build quality feels robust, promising durability and longevity.
If you’re seeking a convenient, effective way to sneak in exercise without sacrificing your limited time, this under desk elliptical is an excellent investment. It has transformed my desk job from a sedentary one into an active one, promoting better health and overall well-being.

Tixmac Elipse Leg Exerciser While Sitting for Seniors,Ellipse Under Desk Elliptical Quiet Portable Seated Foot Pedal Exerciser,Mini Elliptical Fit Pro Peddler Training Exercise Machines:
Even at lower speed settings, I get a very good movement and flow that my legs feel relaxed and ready to walk. It takes a few minutes to familiarize with the settings and remote. The forward/ backward setting is great as well. It is lightweight and easy to carry and move around. It is a bit bulky but looks nice all around, like a nice therapy of exercise equipment or gadget. Very good quality.

I originally had one of the well-known under-desk elliptical machines because I thought it might help me get some much needed exercise for my legs and hips. I eventually sold it, as I wasn’t actually using like I thought I would. And then I decided I missed it. Of course, I did. Sigh. The Tixmac leg exerciser caught my eye because it’s similar to the unit I had, however, with one major difference. The Tixmac is electrical rather than just manual. Don’t get me wrong; you can use it as a manual elliptical if you wish. But you don’t have to. I’m trying to build strength in my legs, and I find the automatic setting that does the cycling for me is the most helpful, at least for now. It goes backwards and forwards, has different speeds and comes with a remote and straps to hold your feet on the pedals if needed. It has a digital display that’s intuitive to use, very easy. And there’s an excellent instruction booklet as well. I love this little exercising elliptical, and I can’t see myself selling it. Recommended.
