I’m new to rowing machines, but I have used some in the past when I used to have a gym membership so I do have at least some experience with other machines to be able to compare this one too. The seat is very comfortable and glides super easy. I’m not the biggest guy though. I’m 5’7″ 200 lbs for reference. The resistance goes from almost nothing to a pretty decent amount. I do remember the gym machines offering much more resistance, but this one still offers a good amount for someone who just wants to get a good cardio session in. It of course needed some assembly upon arrival, but the skill level needed is very basic. If you can turn a screw you can put this together no problem. It has a very small footprint which is great when you don’t have much space to work with. This could easily fit in most small rooms even in an apartment and it’s not overly heavy. It also has built in wheels to help move it around as needed. I do have one small complaint though. Due to the small footprint, the foot pegs to strap you feet into, are on the side of the resistance wheel rather than in front of it like I’m used to. Because of this design, when you get to your starting/reset position of the workout, it causes your arms to need to bend more than necessary in order to bend your knees enough to get a good push. It’s not a huge deal for me, being a shorter person, but for anyone about 5’10” or taller I feel this machine would be way to small to be beneficial. I’m no expert, but thats just what I see based on my use with it. Other than that, I’m very satisfied with it.

It’s a nice little machine but the draw weight on it is definitely far off from 350 pounds. Even set at max weight, I can easily pull the handle right to my chest legs fully extended. You can work up a little burn in full motion, but it feels like it’s lacking.

This is a great rowing machine. It is really quiet. Feels sturdy and smooth. I have it sitting on a mat. I love to row for about 30 minutes and I can get a great workout on this. It has plenty of adjustment levels for me. Rowing is about maintaining a proper posture/position, not hunching over or leaning back, and not pulling too hard at the beginning or end — smooth solid movements all the way through. This machine allows me to do that and I get a great rowing workout.
It’s nice to have a computer display for tracking. I haven’t tried the blue tooth/app features yet because I am still getting into a solid routine with this. The computer is battery powered, comes on when you start rowing, and auto shuts off when not used after a few minutes. It came with two batteries, but I used some name brand ones that I had on hand.
My phone doesn’t totally fit down in the slot with my phone cover on, but it is solid enough, especially sideways. I can watch videos and that’s really nice.
I love I can stand this up on the front. It doesn’t take up much room at all. There is a rubber knob on the front of the wheel piece that it rests on and it feels sturdy.
Assembly went well for the most part. An instruction book was included and the tool kit is labeled. In case you rip the paper backing on the toolkit that labels each part, you might want to take a photo of it. Most of the screws require an Allen Wrench. If you have your own with a regular screwdriver handle, it makes things easier.
The install went well until it got to the installation of the display. I pushed beyond where I was comfortable to try to get the metal bracket into the plastic piece as directed. I removed the monitor screen and tried to force the metal bracket in the hole but it was not budging because it was catching on the rounded corners of the plastic. I could see the metal peeling slivers of the plastic away. I ultimately took a flat head screwdriver and scraped off some of the plastic in the hole corners. I also had to hammer in the metal piece a bit on the corners. I still had to push really hard after all of that, but it finally went in. This took way longer that it should have.
IMPORTANT — It doesn’t mention it, but the screws on the side of the monitor piece need to be tightened once you get it at the angle you want. Otherwise it is going to move back and forth when you put your phone or tablet on it.

Pros:
Adjustable Resistance: The magnetic resistance system offers a decent range of difficulty levels, allowing for effective workouts.
Smooth Glide Seat: The dual slide rail ensures a smooth and comfortable rowing experience.
Easy Assembly: The setup process is relatively straightforward, making it convenient for users of all levels.
350lbs Loading Capacity: The rower can accommodate users up to 350 pounds, providing a versatile option for various fitness levels.
Cons:
Limited Resistance Range: While the resistance is sufficient for many users, some may find it doesn’t go high enough for more intense workouts.
Average Handle: The handle might not be as durable or comfortable as some users would prefer, potentially requiring replacement in the future.
Overall:
The FEIERDUN Rowing Machine offers a solid and affordable home workout option. Its adjustable resistance, smooth glide seat, and easy assembly make it a convenient choice for those looking to incorporate rowing into their fitness routine. While the resistance range might be limited for some, and the handle could benefit from improvements, the overall value and performance of the rower make it a worthwhile consideration.
