I didn’t understand this was an arm band. I thought it was a strap for the original OT heart rate monitor you wear around your chest. I believe the manufacturer may have updated or added photos since I ordered clearly showing it’s for a gen 2 arm sensor, but either way I’m sure the product description explained which sensors it worked with and I just incorrectly assumed it was the one I have. So, I cannot rate it for compatibility with OT devices but I CAN say it’s attractive, the Velcro is sturdy and doesn’t slip and it seems like an all around well constructed band.

But it’s not great, either. I bought the FITCENT Heart Rate Monitor Armband Replacement Strap as replace my worn out OTF (Orangetheory) burn armband. The band itself was straightforward to replace once I figured out it’s overly long on purpose. It’s about .05 mm too wide for the monitor, but once you get past the ends of the strap, the fabric’s flexible enough to wiggle the band in position. I generally wear my burn just underneath my elbow, but the FITCENT armband is much too long to fit my arm in this location. The band kept slipping down around my wrist because there was nothing for the hook & look fastener to hook into. Wearing it above my elbow fits better and it’s easier for me to adjust by myself in this position. The band is a little bit scratchy but in fairness, I have sensitive skin that’s easily irritated by everything.
I read reviews for similarly sized bands and many of those reviews claim those don’t fit the OTF burn. The FITCENT was one of the few with pictures showing the band on the burn so I felt confident it would work for me. At $6.99, it was a great deal so even though I don’t love it, it suits my needs.

I just recently got into Orangetheory fitness and found out that I needed to wear a heart rate monitor on my forearm while working out. Useful for monitoring yourself and seeing your improvement. Only thing I hate about it is that it’s so boring looking just being a black band. Lo and behold, I stumble onto this accessory for my Orangetheory fitness armband heart rate monitor. This camouflage design puts a little spunk on my heart rate monitor! The elasticity works well, the Velcro works just perfectly, and it is very compatible with the Orangetheory heart rate monitor. Nothing wrong with it whatsoever, and definitely a nice change of look for something that is very practical and blah . Also, it is very moisture absorbing and will dry off pretty easily after you sweat profusely after a hard workout.
