I love this rowing machine! I searched long and hard, review after review, and I’m so glad this is the one I picked.
I’ll start off by saying that I have Not tried the app, so I have no report on that. If I do try it, I’ll try to post an update here. But the app was not among my needs for purchase.
Read the assembly directions. When attaching the seat, it’s Very important that you get the seat And the stem facing correctingly in order for the sensor to work. The directions tell you how, so Read Them. I’m a DIY person so directions are not my thing, but you’ve got to swallow that pride in order to get accurate experience of a quality product. It’s easy enough to assemble, you just need to know about things like the sensor and which parts go where.
Tools and parts was SO easy, I wish Every manufacturer did this. They’re all nicely labeled and separated in wrapping (pictured), so there’s no reasonable way you can accidentally throw them away with the box. Pedals are in the one smaller box inside product packaging. Only downside to packaging is that there are no spare parts. But it’s organized so well, you shouldn’t need extras.
About the only thing the instruction booklet doesn’t tell you, is how to increase tension. Fortunately the little knob is pretty self explanatory, and the booklet covers just about everything else. The machine is so super easy to use, my 12 yr old can come in and use it with no problem. Just look up videos for proper posture.
I can’t say enough how remarkably quiet this machine is! There’s sound, sure. But I can workout on this machine while watching a movie and the sound does Not interrupt the movie at all. So even a lazy day binge watching shows still gets a workout. I also have super sensitive hearing, and remarkably this machine doesn’t aggravate that.
Biggest con, it’s a heavy machine and despite being manufactured to be moveable, it’s not without some effort. I have a tiny space, but usually it’s just easier to leave it out than try to maneuver it. Especially since I use it daily. The directions tell you how to make it more portable, but don’t be surprised when you have to use a little muscle both ways – mostly when lining up the holes just right to insert the stabilizing pin. Keep this in mind during original assembly too. It’s not a feather. Also, the velcro on the footstraps don’t go far enough to tighten around bare feet very well. So unfortunately you’d have to wear shoes to get the most out of those. But it’s probably only an issue when you’re going full speed and need your feet secure. If you’re a beginner starting out slow, it’s probably not as crucial. But do what’s safest for you and your comfort and expertise level.
Overall I couldn’t be more happy with this machine. My friends and family can’t shut me up about it. It’s a great full body workout that doesn’t interrupt the rest of your day. I have a tiny budget so this was a bit if a splurge. But it was still affordable and I’m so happy with my choice.

Todo perfecto. Me llego Antes de lo indicado por la aplicación, en perfectas condiciones. El montaje sencillo y trae todas las herramientas necesarias, aprox fueron 20/25min. El material todo de buena calidad, el asiento me ha llamado la atención pues es muy confortable. No hace nada de ruido la contrapesa, solo el roce del asiento con la guía pero lo normal. Producto 100% recomendable, se ajusta a las necesidades que se deseaba.

I have this rowing machine for a about a month now so here are my impressions so far:
1) Delivery: though not a quality of the product “per se”, for some people might be important: the product was delivered just on time and in good condition.
2) Unpacking and assembly: before buying it, I had a look at the reviews here on Amazon, mostly at the bad ones: a lot of people complaining about the product being too difficult to unwrap and assemble. It took me about half an hour to complete the job, using only the tools supplied with the machine. Worked like a charm, no complaints on my side.
3) The rower: the machine is quite ok, especially if you consider the price. I like that the handle is a bit larger, it feels much more comfortable this way. The resistance is more than enough (I am using it at level 8 out of 14). It might not seem much for the first few strokes but consider this is not something to force your muscles to the limit from the start. Do a 10 – 15 – 20 minutes exercise and I am sure it will feel resistant enough.
4) The app: the app is not great, but it gets the job done. I have problems connecting it to the machine only ones, quickly fixed by a restart of the app.
5) The bads: the only thing I would complain about is the lack of some kind of padding for the low end of the footrest. For sure at the gym one will wear his/her practice shoes, but in the comfort of your own home, I prefer socks or even nothing if it’s too hot. Well, using the machine with bare feet is not a good idea: the hard plastic of the footrest hurt the part above the hills so bad that in about 2 minutes they were bleeding. Easy to fix with some self-adhesive sponge, but would have been nice to be padded from the start.

Update below: issue with seat became worse and when contacting customer service they sent me a new seat asap. Machine is quiet and works great. Still under pressure 5 days a week. Just some wd40 here and there.
I have used this machine 5 days a week at least since purchasing it. I wanted to put it to the test before leaving a review. I put it together myself in under an hour. Instruction were easy to follow.
Resistance is good and lots of levels. The app is great. I saw someone had mentioned it was finicky but if it is not connecting just hold down the button to reset and try again.
Easily stored and out of the way because it
folds up into half the size. The phone holder on it is sturdy just be careful with your phone screen cause it is a tight hold.
I would have given it 5 stars if it wasn’t for the noise that the seat makes. It sounds like a metal on metal sound and there are random metal shavings on the frame when I am done my workout. I do not think it is going to interfere with the workings of the machine but it is loud and I work out at night so it is sometimes bothersome to my kids. The only other part is that the seat drags sometimes. Im sure greasing the area with actual grease would help but that is not written anywhere.
Also there was some noise feedback from the machine when I was in level three resistance but it seems to have subsided and I hope it does not happen again. This is a great product for the price and how compact it is and would have my full five stars if it wasn’t for the two things listed above.

Mit etwas Skepsis, wegen des attraktiven Preises habe ich dieses Teil erworben. Der Aufbau war mit Hilfe der Anleitung kein Problem, obgleich es sicher bessere gibt. Nun bin ich durchaus zufrieden. Der eingebaute Rechner gehört zu den Einfacheren. Die empfohlene App werde ich wegen der Registrierungspflicht nicht verwenden. Es geht aber auch ohne. Die Verstellung ist in mehreren Stufen möglich und für meine Zwecke (Ausdauer und Kardio) vollkommen ausreichend. Insgesamt ein solides Gerät. Für die Anwendung jenseits des Ruderns würde ich es nicht empfehlen, da der Widerstand nicht komplett linear ist. Alles in allem kann ich das Gerät aber empfehlen und würde es – zum Rudern und für nichts Anderes – wieder kaufen.

I’ve had this rower now for almost 3 weeks and I LOVE everything about it. I have as much fun on it as the rowers at the gym. The resistance levels are decent. I’m in ok shape and the level 6 right now offers plenty of resistance to get my heart rate up. It’s quiet enough that I can watch videos while I’m on it, and the cloudFitness app has been working great for me so far. I would absolutely recommend this rower over any other magnetic rower. I am so happy I found and purchased this.

I’ve been researching rowers for quite some time. I chose to go magnetic because they are quiet, offer a good range of motion, and have a more realistic feel. I’m a dragon boat paddler so I didn’t want the wonky feel from the hydraulic rowers but didn’t want the nose and bulk of the flywheel rowers. I also needed something that would be able to be stored without taking much space. But something sturdy. Yes, this rower is bigger than most hydraulic rowers, but when it folds up, it’s easy to roll it into an out of the way corner. I considered a Kettler rower for a long time but I just don’t like the feel of the hydraulic rowers. Price was a concern but more important to me was quality. When I came across this rower, I was skeptical of the price, but the reviews sounded great, and I LOVE that there are foot petals on the front so you can use it for other exercises.

Super easy to put together. I did it myself using the great toolset they send with it.My only challenge was that I put it together on our porch and our floor is completely not flat, so getting the cotter pin aligned required I pick up the shaft in order to get it positioned correctly, but no big deal there. It is not a light machine, but it’s not heavy either. I think the specs say it’s around 60lbs. It’s easy for me to pull out the cotter pin and fold it up. the cotter pin goes back in to make sure it stays up. There are wheels that make it pretty easy to move around. I ended up moving it to the basement and it was easy to take the two sides apart and move them separately by myself.
Bottom line. Great great great.
