I purchased this watch a few weeks ago, I had no problem with it and then all of a sudden it started to not track anything. It gave me a message that the contacts were not making contact with my wrist. I never heard such a ridiculous thing in my life. I took it off. I cleaned it. I recharged it and two days later. It happened again. I was so mad. I just threw it in the garbage instead of getting a refund. I had thrown the box out and I didn’t want to hassle. Do not buy this …what kind of watch stops reaching connections with your wrist after two weeks. Come on.
I Believe –
Pros: It keeps time accurately. It fits my very tiny wrists comfortably. As far as I can tell, the heart monitor seems to be accurate, but with other aspects of the watch being inaccurate, I question if the heart monitor is actually accurate. Cons: The sleep monitor only works sometimes. I go to bed at the same time every night and wake up at the same time every morning. But the majority of the time, the app records that I fall asleep three hours later than I actually do. The steps seem to be off – it records too many to be accurate. The weather app has never worked. I wouldn’t buy this watch again.
Edit: I just wanted to add that the company reached out and offered me a full refund, which I appreciate. Excellent customer service!!!!

I’ve had this watch for 6weeks now & it works. I was a fitbit loyalist for 10yrs. & my most recent one died after the 1yr warranty. i was tired of paying so much money for a mediocre watch w/ poor customer service so this is how I came to purchase the VPSTAY .
PROS: I loved the price! Watch looks nice. Attractive design. Charges amazingly fast!
CONS: Dislike the 1 size fits all band because I have small wrists so there is a lot of excess band. I can’t read the watch in direct sunlight. Other than the “time” most of the data on the watch is difficult or impossible to read because the print is so tiny hence U will need to set the screen setting brighter to off set the tiny print & this cuts into your charge. Doesn’t seem to be a way to shut off the raise to wake feature. The raise to wake feature is clunky nor the is “5 seconds” 5 seconds. 5 second screen time is useless because U will spend that time struggling to focus on the tiny print before the screen goes dark. ANNOYING!. The sleep tracker data is wildly different from the fitbit so who’s right? The Anyloop app is clunky. There is no way to manually log in or track your weight unless U buy their body fat scale.
For me there are a lot of misses w/ this watch. In many ways it’s like buying an older fitbit version. The watch…it’s OK.

I didn’t want to get an Apple watch because I find the look very clunky, especially on a tiny wrist. I like the streamlined size of the screen. It is easy to pair with your phone and I like the features: step count, calorie count, heart rate, blood oxygen level, sleep, alarm, activity and weather. You can add other features like messages and music. The band is comfortable and adjustable. I took a star off because I’d like to be able to change straps and delete some of the screen features.

I’m notorious for not having my phone on me so I needed to find a way to track my steps. My desire to find a watch style step counter that is actually accurate and doesn’t cost a fortune was proving to be impossible until now. I have purchased and returned several. 3 days in and Ive decided this is a keeper!
Style & Comfort:
The watch fits on my wrist just fine and is not overly large or even too small for that matter. As a non-watch wearer I found it to be comfortable and doesn’t clash with my outfits or daily activities. I however have no idea if it is water resistant or not. I need to look into this. I forget about it while washing hands etc and need to be more mindful.
Battery Life:
I charge the watch overnight. It is in use for about 15 hours a day and has yet to go below 60% battery. The charging cable is a magnetic USB port. You need a block. I typically do not like the magnet chargers as they don’t stay connected, but this seems to stay connected without difficulty.
Mobil App & Functions:
As I stated I purchased this to be a step calculator. I don’t need all the fancy pants capabilities that an Apple Watch has, but this does appear to have several similar functions that are standard with this watch , none that I am however using.
You download the free app to set up, which was easy enough and I was able to turn on and off the functions that would not be in use. Messages, music, sleep etc I do not use. Time, date, heart rate and steps are my focus. Occasionally you need to re-sync the app with the watch if you are actually reviewing your stats on the app. Not a big deal it takes but a moment. I don’t really use the app for anything however. You can also sync the app with your Apple Health App. Apple will update the watch app, but the watch app does not update the Apple app. I also use a calorie counting app. (looseIt) While many style step watches are compatible with the calorie app, unfortunately this is not one of them. So far that is the only downfall as far as I’m concerned. But it’s not a big deal. I can just get the total steps from the watch face and manually update my calorie app to reflect them. Sleep Tracking:
As mentioned I do not use this function as I sleep like a rock 8-9 hours a night. Also I charge the watch at night so I am not wearing it. If one did want to track sleep as well as steps, I’m not sure when you would actually charge the watch as I’d assume it would be in use 24 hours. This may be a downside for someone.
Accuracy:
This is the BIG one for me. While it may take a moment to update from time to time, I’m happy to say it is the most accurate step counter I have tried yet. I have tested it out by physically counting my steps as I walk from one room to another, and then comparing my count to that of the watch. It is always a perfect match. With that said however, I have found if your arm that is wearing the watch is not swinging while walking, steps may be missed. This is important to consider when going up a flight of stairs, or carrying something for example. I found while pushing a grocery cart my steps were not accounted for. However when I move my arm to reach for an item off of a shelf, or lift an object, a step is counted. For this reason I advise you to wear the watch on your non-dominant wrist. Therefore you are not giving yourself false steps when it was really a reach.
Overall I am incredibly pleased with the devise. It fits my needs and was an acceptable price.

Update: Seller quickly responded to my issue and resolved the problem by refunding the cost. Thank you!
I’ve had the watch for less than a week and it doesn’t record my steps properly. This has happened two times that I am aware of. Today in the early afternoon my watch showed 1700 steps but when I opened the app it showed 600. It said something about synchronizing but I wasn’t sure how long it would take so I said no to synchronizing and then the app overroad my watch Step numbers. So now it’s showing that I have walked 600 steps. I’m rounding to the nearest hundred on my numbers by the way. Yes I’m grateful that the watch is cheap and it’s been working great except for the app and watch synchronization. And there is no other app to use with this watch. Buyer beware.
Update: a week later and the watch is still malfunctioning. It’s 10:30 pm at night and the watch reflects 263 steps. Earlier I had over 2k. I’m returning the watch.
