Good stuff –
Very comfortable

I’m currently training for a Boston qualifying marathon time, with hopes of reaching a Tokyo qualifying time by late next year. As part of my marathon training program I needed a second heart rate monitoring device to pair with my Garmin Forerunner, in order to calculate lactate threshold. This clips on to the bottom of a sports bra and is so much nicer than having to wear a heart rate monitor with a strap. Watch and this monitor were able to get more accurate heart rate readings and do the lactate threshold test. Happy with my purchase.

I was really excited to try this and bought into the women’s specific product, despite the higher price for only an ability to clip onto my bra. First run was a long one, 20 miles, and felt fine until about mile 16 when the sides of my body where the side sensors are started to hurt. After the run saw cuts where the sensors were but thought maybe it was just the length of the run. Tried it on a shorter run and had the same problem. It was $150 so I was determined and tried it on another short tread run. The pictures I’ve included are what the cuts looked like after four miles. I had to accept this heart rate monitor just doesn’t work for me. I enjoyed the extra metrics that came with it but it wasn’t worth the pain. I’ve reached out to Garmin and they’ve scheduled a call with me to discuss this, though no idea what that will achieve. But regardless this is a definite pass for me, way too painful.
Update: Garmin scheduled a call with me and after about a 10 minute call they agreed to refund my money after I send the item directly to them. I did so and within about three weeks received a refund check. Sorry the product didn’t work for me, but very thankful to Garmin for their great customer service.

It just works. As a woman who is very active I don’t want another thing around my lungs to constrict my breathing so this works perfectly because it clips into your bra.

Excelente si quieres tener mejor estadisticas sobre tu desempeño. Es MUY comodo, no se siente ni estorba. No dejar mucho tiempo puesto ya que por el sudor puede cuasar un poco de irritación

The battery door is impossible to open. I had to return the item same day it arrived. Garmin customer service is a nightmare. Searching for a non-Garmin alternative right now. Skip this lemon.

This is an easy snap on heart monitor that snaps on really quickly to the strap of your sports bra. It really makes it so much easier to get out the door!

I previously tried a normal Garmin HRM strap and didn’t like it. It was often too loose or uncomfortable in some way.
I was excited to see this new item and see if it helped solve the problems I had with traditional straps. I’ve really enjoyed it- it easily clips on and stays in place. I haven’t had any chafing issues while running. It easily syncs with my Garmin watch and an exercise bike. Once I have it on, I forget it’s there.
I saw some early influencer reviews of this item that were a bit negative- they questioned what problem it was solving, or why it was worth $50 extra on top of other models. But I’m so glad I gave it a try and it has been a great item for my exercise routine.

J’avais auparavant la ceinture cardio H10, très performante mais un léger inconfort, je me sentais serré.
Aujourd’hui avec ce nouveau capteur à clipper sur la brassière, c’est un vrai bonheur. Je ne l’a sent même plus

Convenient to use, snap on and go – no fuss! I like that I can pan through the readings to see the rhythm of the heartbeats as it goes up and down, and see the number of times I went over my maximum heart rate. I always wondered about it. Overall I am satisfied with this purchase. I finally have a good sense of the zones I hit at the pace I am in, heart rate wise.

But why 4 stars then? I’m still kinda “iffy” on this. While it is so much better than the arm heart rate I was using and is more accurate than the built in wrist HR on my Garmin watch, I’m still not sure about this.
Tbf, this is the first HR monitor strap I’ve used. I’ve only ever used just the watch HR or the HR monitor that goes on the arm just below the elbow.
That being said, here are some pros and cons that I’ve come to notice using it 5-6 days a week:
Pros:
-Easy to put on
-Works with pretty much all my sports bra I own (for my longline sports bra, I just fold the band under a bit before clipping it on and it has worked just fine that way)
-Fast and easy to take off
-I like that I’m getting a more accurate HR when working out/running
-Connects easily to the Peloton app, Garmin watch
Cons:
-Bulky/bumpy – can see it under the tank top
-Certain floor work, like with yoga or post workout stretch, it’s uncomfortable because you can’t lay on stomach with it on for some stuff and if I’m out on trail, I don’t necessarily want to take it off just to do some stretching
-Can be uncomfortable at times. I often feel like I have to keep adjusting it because it’s bulky and I can feel it in an uncomfortable way.
-Unsure about battery life. It seems like it will be okay but after 3 uses, battery dropped to the 80% range. Be a bummer if I had to replace batteries constantly but we’ll see. So far it’s been okay and hasn’t dropped too much so it may be the battery was older on the one I got so wasn’t a full 100% when I started out.
-Cost. It’s quite pricey for how uncomfortable, stiff and bulky and possible chafing issues.
All in all, I kept it and didn’t return it because I do like the ease of clip it on and go and that my tighter long sleeve shirts don’t cause a problem like with the armband. I don’t like the feel of it and can’t wait to take it off so I wish it was more comfortable vs it feeling so stiff and bulky and like I have to adjust it a few times and that it might chafe after wearing it for awhile – like longer runs or workouts. Time will tell if I end up liking it more but right now I don’t love it but it’s the better option from what is currently available to me without spending more money

I love this so much ..i will never go back to a standard one ever ..it means no slipping off during a more intense wrkout and no loosing a few minutes data there …which i found alot in past ….so fast to put on ..and clips to most sports bras .love it ! No faffing with a strap …just click and go …so much faster for me .🙂
