Great little gadget. I use it to do intervals for stretching and gym work. I also use it for running time intervals when I am using my watch for distance intervals etc. One charge lasts ages.

In meinem Gym sind viel Uhren aufgehängt. Die Trainingszeit beträgt pro Gerät genau 2 Minuten. Die Uhren kann ich nicht immer sehen und so verängt man sich den Hals. Mit dem Gymboss ist das vergessen: Ein Druck auf die Taste und er meldet sich verlässlich nach 2 Minuten – oder wie man will – per Vibration oder Piep. Es war eine gute Entscheidung!

This timer is perfect for interval training. If you are doing boxing training it is a must have. It is not complicated to use. Ease of use and simplicity is a big deal when it comes to good interval timers. I got the one with the bright background and I really like this feature. It was worth the extra money. I highly recommend!

I am so glad a bought this to replace my regular gymboss that I lost. With the old one, I had to replace the battery and I could not run in the rain with it. I hardly ever have to charge this one and run can run in the rain without a problem.

A button fell out after light use. I received a replacement button in the mail. Other down side, it either beeps, vibrates, or both. Depending on the exercise the ability to not have an loud beep/vibrate would be beneficial. A magnet would also be cool… Assuming the thing gets a better quality build considering the costs… Otherwise, this should really be 25% of what they charge…

I originally purchased my first Gymboss unit back in 2010. My wife and I used the interval “walk-run” setting to train for our first marathon. We used it so often, we purchased another one for a his and hers companion. Then life got in the way and I put consistent running sessions on a shelf for years. So the Gymboss units sat in a drawer. After some time of sitting dormant ,for at least 5 years, one of the units lost it ability to vibrate, which is my preferred alert. The other was loaned/given to a friend who wanted to do interval exercise routines.
After getting back into running in the last month, I knew it was time to get a new Gymboss. The new unit has a sturdier and more durable look, fit and finish. It is also a more polished and refined appearance. It has the updated rechargeable battery and a very visible backlight digital display. The new unit works and performs just as it should. It really helps by reminding me to take my scheduled 30 second interval walk. Just enough time to recover for my next run interval. It is simple to program with the supplied directions. If you any difficulties with programing, there are numerous Youtube videos on “how to” for the Gymboss unit. It is a cheap and long lasting running companion that gives you the gentle reminder to not over do it. Conversely, it also reminds you to “get back at it”. I love this helpful little friend !

Purchased because HIIT work out timer on my phone would sleep because of my 30 sec sleep setting. Very annoying to wake up phone in middle of set.
Easy set up. Great battery life. Loud alarm that penetrates AirPods noise cancelling.
Only change I would make is to remove instructions from clip and put on back of timer and put magnet in the clip or back of unit. The vibrate that accompanies beep will cause unit to fall.
