I really want to like this thing. It fits under my desk perfectly, is the right size, etc, but the left pedal keeps unscrewing itself and I have to reattach it about every 50 pedals. That’s annoying. I will reach out to the company and if they resolve the issue, I will update my rating.
Update: replacement product arrived. Pedals work on the new one, but tension knob does not so the pedals are flying free. Have sent email to seller. Seller requested a picture, I sent one and they stopped responding to my messages. Contacted Amazon customer support, they sent a message to the seller. Seller is not responding to me or the Amazon. Amazon finally issued a refund.

The fasteners were missing!

I actually purchased 2 of these so my wife would have one too and I would not have to hunt the one down.
I also purchased 2 of these as the proverbial “Scratch and Dent”, and while the first one was actually complete (yet sounded terrible as the battery holder on the counter broke loose, which was an easy fix.) and the second one was missing the soft rubber feet and strap (minor as I had spare straps that are long enough). The feet pads for the second peddler I cut from a sheet of 1/4 inch Neoprene, the feet pads in the image are actually from the first peddler, but they kept coming loose, so I glued the foot pads of both peddlers with the “B-7000” adhesive (purchased a while ago for another project.), as you can see in the image. The adhesive and the Neoprene are from Amazon. The first peddler had not been assembled, the second peddler was partially assembled (to be expected when buying a “scratch and Dent”/”Used” item.
As for the peddling use, these do work quite well for recovering range of motion and they are quiet even with a bit of peddling resistance (which is adjustable via that knob), so you can watch TV while peddling, and since you are not paying as much attention to the excercise if watching TV, you end up using it for more time than you realize, and you do feel the muscle fatigue after a while too (which you should). Plus you can use it with a comfortable chair too. The strap, which is nominally 6 feet long keeps the peddler from sliding away from you as you use it, just loop it around the 2 front chair legs and loop it around the rear peddler base.

Se desliza mucho al estar pedaleando, tienes que estar parando para atraerlo a ti

I like this product because it was easy to assemble and very portable after use. It was a gift for my Mom and she just loves it!!

Good solid and quiet. Timer a little off so can only assume the other functions may be off as well. Does what I expect it to.

It might sound dramatic, but I really feel this has improved my grandpa’s quality of life. He pedals every day and I can see an improvement in how well he gets around. Just as important, I also sense a boost to his spirit. Feeling that he can still be active, even at 91, seems to have given him the optimism he needed to start doing more with his days. He’s shoveling the sidewalk and taking out the trash for my grandma again. That sense of accomplishment is incredibly powerful.
The longer back story to how we came to purchase this ‘bike.’ Gramps retired from farming at 80 yrs old and has a hard time accepting that his body just won’t do what he wants it to anymore. I noticed that he was spending a lot of time camped out in his chair with a thick blanket covering his legs. He was obviously having circulation issues.
We started chatting about ways he could add some movement to his day and most were ruled out, either due to it being winter or his body not quite up for the challenge. He said he could handle pedaling while he watched TV and I truly hoped (but didn’t fully believe) that he’d use this.
2 months later, he still sits in his chair a lot, but now he pedals while he’s there 🙂
UPDATE: 1 year later, he proudly brags about how long he’s pedaled each day. Battling congestive heart failure and leukemia, this now-92 year old is still at it for 25-30 minutes every afternoon.
There are better models out there; this is lightweight and very easy to knock over while pedaling. Still, this makes a great, useful grandparent gift that I highly recommend.

Changed rating from 3to 5 stars.
First bike had problem with left pedal unscrewing. Received replacement in a day. New one works fine.
Great customer service.

I bought this peddle for hand exercising. For this it does serve its purpose being light weight and compact that you can basically use any table for it to sit on but a small foldable tables will shake when you use this machine if you don’t put you foot on of the table’s leg frame to keep it solid. The tension doesn’t seem strong it is either too loose or not tight enough and the tension knob is not that clear. You have to turn it several times left or right to completely loosen it or completely tighten it. The peddle is not that smooth when you turn it and it gets very jerky when you tighter you make it. It doesn’t seem like it is a magnetic peddle and I have never seen a manual nonmagnetic peddle this jerky before. The digital meter meter is very confusing. It is very difficult to tell which mode you are on until you start turning the peddle. One mode is timer and the other is turns. I am not exactly sure about the other modes. One good feature about timer mode is it stops the timer where it is as soon as it detects about 3 seconds of nonmovement or very slow movement forcing you to exercise to complete proper peddling for example 15 minutes. Despite these drawbacks if you just need a peddle for plain simple exercise this is more than enough considering the price.
