I bought this in July and by September I noticed my sensor wasn’t working right. I was super irritated. I took the sensor out and looked at the band, and it turns out that the metal inside of where the sensor clips in was rusted, which is why it wasn’t reading right. Switched to my original Suunto band and it worked fine. I liked that this was inexpensive, but not if it’s just going to rust. Obviously it will get wet; I sweat a ton while I workout.

I can’t tell if this is the original Suunto strap cos it doesn’t look like it (I thought it was from the pictures). But I must say this is much more comfortable than previous original Suunto HR straps so I’m pleasantly surprised by the quality for the price I paid. Not sure how durable it is yet because I’ve only worn this for 3 runs but it is very comfortable.

1 month in. 36 hours of training without washing and no signs of rust. I rinse it and leave it out to air dry. It’s been perfect so far. Great product.
