So far, I am very impressed with this rower. First of all, it was very well packaged and arrived without any damage. Assembly was fairly straight forward. It took 1 hour and 15 minutes to unpack and assemble it by myself with the supplied tools. The hardware was packaged and labeled in the order of assembly. This is one robustly built rower! The stainless hardware is probably larger than is needed and the welds are impeccable. I downloaded the app and it paired with my android tablet right away. It operates smoothly and with much less noise than a Concept2. I am a 61 year old male, in decent shape. I am using it set at level 5 out of 10 and about 15 minute is about all that I can do right now at a steady pace without a break. I tried level 10 just to see what it is like. I would probably be done in 2 minutes at that resistance. LOL. The only nitpick that I have is that the tablet holder doesn’t have enough adjustment for a smaller tablet. My tablet is not very large and I have to wedge a piece of rubber in so that it doesn’t fall. A cellphone would have to be placed vertically.

Set up took a while but was straightforward provided you follow the instructions carefully. . Connected up to kinomap easily although you have to keep the monitor’awake’ whilst you connect up . Rowing action is smooth and quiet and having the resistance control is the centre makes it easier to change. Kinomap works well but yoy need to contact joroto customer service to get the extension to the free period. Customer service v quick to respond. Build quality is solid and all bolts n screws fitted well. Great value

I wanted a magnetic rower over an air rower like concept 2 due to the resistance would be better for workouts.
This was a good decision, it is very nice to set a pace and either increase the resistance or decrease it. Nice to be able to go slower at higher resistance or faster at lighter resistance.
The machine itself seems very good quality. The only negatives I see is the footstraps aren’t quickly adjustable and seem to be limited foot size. I have a size 9 man feet and the strap is around my toes barefoot, but it seems to work fine. Also the screen isn’t great, hard to read and not great features, however you can connect to kinomap.
Kinomap is awesome. Without kinomap it would be hard to push myself as hard as I do or stay as motivated. Plus it is cheaper than other rowing subscriptions I’ve seen and you can buy a lifetime subscription. Also provides free options.
As for the rower itself, the seat feels comfortable. The resistances are easy enough to adjust and seem to be a good range. At first I thought the highest resistance was too little, but after a long rowing session, it is plenty, and I don’t spend much time at the highest setting.
I have been using for about 5 weeks now. The results are amazing. I row about 3 days a week once or twice a day at around 25-30 minutes. Instantly I could sleep at night, previously I was always awake from midnight to around 5am. And I also stayed awake during the day without dozing off. When I’m awake I feel really rested. I get good sleep. Also have tons of energy.
Very happy with my purchase. A good machine, and great health benefits.

I had another piece of equipment (a Gazelle) that lasted almost 25 years.
I decided on a rowing machine. I was considering a Concept 2. I needed it to be INTENSE! I use this for a HIT type of workout. (Body For Life). This machine does not disappoint. Plenty of resistance. It’s quiet. It folds up nicely and is easy to move. The Concept 2’s were almost 3 times the cost…so I am pleased about the price of this machine. I will update my review in a couple of months after getting used to a rowing machine at home! So far…so great!

After reviewing several rower in various price ranges we decided to try this JOROTO Rower. We felt that the combination of features, quality, price and good reviews made it a well worth checking out.
First, it arrived when expected and we received a security code via email to read to the delivery person. The rower was packed very well and nothing was damaged or missing.
Second, this rower was fairly easy to assemble, although I would have preferred that the individual parts be lettered or numbered. But that’s a very minor detail because each part was pretty easy to identify. It appears to be very sturdy when completely assembled.
Third, when I tried it out it did not disappoint. It’s very smooth and really quiet when in use. The display monitor is pretty decent. It requires two C batteries (included) and doesn’t need to be plugged into an electric outlet. That’s a big plus in my opinion. It works well with the Kinomap application, which I downloaded from the app store on my phone. It’s said to be compatible with other fitness apps as well, but I have yet to try them out. I decided to mirror my screen to my smart tv so all the training videos and scenery are big and beautiful. I love how fluid this rower is and it is very comfortable to use. The resistance is pretty decent and easily adjustable.
So far I’m very happy with this purchase and my wife and kids love it. We’ve tried other rowers that cost much more, but we all agree that this JOROTO rower is a great combination of good features and affordability. I would definitely recommend it.

I have used the Concept 2 for over 20 years. I reviewed the MR60 and decided to take a chance on this new rower. While it was several hundred dollars cheaper than the Concept , the unit seemed well made. I decided to take a chance on a purchase. The MR60 is well made. It was somewhat easy to put together. The machining of pieces were fairly exact , so everything fit together nicely. The rear bumper stop for the seat I initially put on upside down; but quickly noticed and reversed it.
I checked out the Kinomap App that is supported with this rower and ultimately decided not to use it . The rower performed nicely… it was quiet and smooth. The rowing movement was fluid. The resistance knob worked well and indeed offered an extra challenge. I have worked out for years. At age 74 I am in fairly good shape. I ended up using setting 4 and 5 . I am not sure I will ever reach resistance level 10. It is hard. My only complaint is that the monitor lights up for a few seconds, then darkens. That probably prolongs battery life. I needed to shine a lamp ( light) directly on the monitor screen to view the data as I rowed. The data seemed accurate and the monitor otherwise worked well.
I was most impressed by the customer service. They seemed to be located in China; but that was not a problem. They were responsive and courteous . I got replies to my e-mails in less than 24 hours. The English was for the most part written clearly and understandable. Over all I am very satisfied. I set my machine in front of a 55″ high def TV and watch YouTube rowing videos while rowing. There is also a place to put a iPad just above the monitor. Rowing to the various videos was indeed a cool and pleasant experience. The quiet and smooth operation of the rower enabled me to view the video sounds without difficultly or interference. I would buy this machine again.

Non sono una professionista e non ho molti paragoni ma il vogatore è un buon prodotto, rispetta le caratteristiche descritte e si usa facilmente. Sembra molto solido e comodo da piegare. Lo uso da pochi giorni quindi non ho idea della tenuta delle parti sul lungo periodo. Montaggio abbastanza facile ma richiede un paio d’ore, non una mezz’ora come ho letto in qualche recensione.

Recently brought this, as it seemed like a less expensive alternative to the Concept 2.
Assembly was easy to understand, but a bit inconvenient to complete. The Instructions are fairly clear and easy. I couldnt somehow get all three screws on the Release Pad, but i dont think that will matter much. Somehow I seem to have worn out the threads for the top screw. Reason i said ‘bit inconvenient to complete’ is that they have provided a bunch of Allen wrenches. But i am more used to using my Ryobi screwdriver/drill to get these things done. This product is designed in such a way, that it is not easy to use my Ryobi and i have to manually screw the hex screws and tighten them. so that is a bit painful.
But fortunately there are too many pieces to screw together. Even with that inconvenience, i got it all together in about 45 mins, doing it slowly. Gave it a test run and it felt great. Was sturdy too. I plan to try it out tomorrow. Will come back with a bunch of photos and additional comments. I havent yet linked the Bluetooth, thats for tomorrow.
