I got this for my nieces birthday because she wanted her first smart watch. I didn’t want to go too expensive and thought this was a good choice. I’m so happy I got this because she loves it. This is very easy to set up and easy to use. This has so many fun functions. She counts her steps and likes to monitor her heart rate. The band fits very comfortable and is very fashionable. Clearly, by purchasing on Amazon and leaving reviews, I’m not a child, whom this product is targeted for. So, I gave this to a “reviewer”, one with the specific instruction that they were to try out all functions that did not require a smartphone, and report back to me so I could leave this review.
5 stars! Now, there are some caveats, namely certain features do not work without a smartphone, like the long term tracking of stats. But, others work on a short term basis like the pedometer, and the heart rate monitor.
Out of the box, the watch had accurate time and had enough charge to start it up. My reviewer then immediately charged it up before actually giving it a few weeks of review time. To start, the charging process, while not a standard USBC nor a wireless charging solution, was nonetheless easy to use. The magnet attachment made it simply work well.
The clock was accurate out of the box, and the variety of ~5 backgrounds were good for the reviewer. It can measure step count, which my reviewer noted seemed mostly accurate, but I reminded them that since this was on the wrist, and not an ankle, that may be the reason. It can also measure heart rate and can alert if the heart rate is too low or too high, which my reviewer also liked a lot.
But the best feature is the long lasting battery. My reviewer was getting between 5-7 days on a single charge.
