Update!
After only 2 weeks use, the Life Cycle has failed. Something inside started making a loud clunking noise every revolution of the pedal, it shakes the whole bike. Since Amazon does not have a replacement, I’m returning it and going for another brand. This is a real shame! We all liked it a lot.
I have always enjoyed the Life Cycle at the gym. I’ve also enjoyed others that offer virtual tracks on an LCD. After doing some thorough research, there are many of the virtual workout bikes for sale that have had to be repaired, while the Life Cycle’s are hard to find, especially the affordable models.
This bike is solidly built, VERY SMOOTH in pedal action, and comfortable. I’ve looked at all brands and have been comparing for months before pulling the trigger on this one.
Notes:
Give yourself about 2 hours to assemble it. It is very easy, but you don’t want to screw something up
Follow the directions!
Get a matt to put it on, especially on a hardwood floor, it does slide around.
It is heavy, so if you aren’t ready to lift 100lbs here and there, get some help, especially mounting the parts that have to have wiring connected like the console.

So I don’t usually wrote reviews but I’m dang proud of myself right now for putting this bike together all by myself today. It took me about 2 hours from unboxing, moving everything from the garage into my living room where I will use it – if I’m watching TV I might as well get exercise. I made this major purchase because I used to ride bike outside – I live in Florida so I’m spoiled and can do that year round. However, on the last bike rode I took my bike malfunctioned in a major way… derailer came loose when I was shifting – bent and got caught in the spokes of the rear wheel. I was STOPPED in my tracks. Ended up having to walk 4 miles home (hubby didn’t answer my cell phone call as he was busy working in the yard) by the time he got my message and called to say he was on his way to get me – An hour later… I was nearly home. Needless to say I’ve decided to stay in the comfort of my home to bike. So far the bike was a dream to ride on my first 30 minute try out. This is a major investment but I think I’m worth it. I’m nearly 55 by the way- easy set up with a furniture dolly to roll the main part of the bike into the house. If you have a helper it would go together faster.

Absolutely revolutionized my exercise routine. We have a gym at the house and have used it for weights and cardio like p90x and Insanity, etc. I injured my ankle on a snowboarding trip but needed to try and keep in shape. The bike provided me with the exercise but also changed the way I would work out. Now if I am feeling like I went a little high on the calories that day I can jump on the bike, turn on an episode of the Sopranos and pedal away for 45 minutes with zero shock to the joints. Also, if I am not feeling like going at it in the gym, I jump on the bike and pedal away. However, the MOST important feature is that if I DO feel like kicking but, I jump on, crank it up to 15 or so and try my best to make it 30 minutes. Quick, effective, comfortable and easy. I wish I had purchased this years ago

I did a lot of research and tried many of these machines in gyms over many years. Life Fitness was my choice because I am familiar with the platform and the quality of their bikes. The bike arrived in two boxes and was easily assembled. It is quite heavy but that is one reason it is stable. I was somewhat disappointed with the frame cover fit over the rear portion on the bike as it was not very tight and had a small gap. The rest of the bikes fit and finish was very good. The electronic package was easy to attach and works well. It was easy to start working out with the electronic package as it is somewhat familiar to me from using similar bikes in the gym. Overall I would recommend this bike to anyone. I would like to see an i-pod dock included with this package, but in my case it is a minor thing.

My husband and I purchased this exercise bike in hopes of being able to use it for at least an hour per day. The build quality is excellent in that the frame is very sturdy and the bike is fairly quiet while in use. However, I am having difficulty with comfort – the seat is not comfortable for more than 15 minutes at a time, and my wrists ache from supporting weight on the handlebars. It would be much better if there was a way to move the seat closer to the handlebars so that I could sit in a more upright position. We are planning to keep the bike, but are trying to find ways to make it more comfortable!

Despite the item description, video, and photos all clearly showing the C3 GO console being a part of the bicycle, Amazon sent it without any sort of console, rendering the whole bicycle useless. When I exchanged the item they again sent the replacement without the console. False advertising by Amazon

this is my second life cycle the one i had lasted twenty years. a few bugs with this one, the chest strap needed to be replaced and i need to have a tech come to the house to figure out the noise it is generating as i pedal, but other than that many new improvements well worth the money.
