The silver metal bar attached to this black round plastic piece located on the bottom of the stepper is entirely broken, it looks like it broke off inside the hole it was meant to be insterted in. It was working then it wasn’t. The hydrolics or whatever made it lift when you step down is shot.
I was using it for 30 minutes a day, 15 minutes in the AM, 15 in the PM, I’m 5’6 and 280. It was stored and used in the same space, never once was rough with it.
I was so excited to get exercising and this awful experience has put me off from home equipment, and I have too bad of anxiety and cannot afford a gym membership.
I have absolutely no clue how to utilize the manufacturer warranty. I read that the warranty is $30+ dollars ($10 than I paid for it), and I’m unsure if using the warranty is even logical or if I should cut my losses and purchase from a better quality brand.

It wouldn’t work when I first received it. Granddaughter fiddled with it and got it to work. No idea what was wrong but it was something on the bottom. We all love it. It’s hard to do which is good! I have it up against the wall and keep my hands on the wall to stay on it. I do hope to get better at it and eventually use the arm bands, too.

I actually live the stepper portion and maybe I’m just a little short for the resistance bands as they don’t really much. I did pull the band thru the hole a bit and then clip it to itself and it seemed to help some. That’s my only complaint
