This Mgaolo kids smart watch is a 3.5 x 4cm watch roughly designed for smaller wrists and kids.
The silver bezel is nice against the black and it looks quite smart as it’s not too thick either at around 0.8mm thick.
My son, aged 11, is wearing this and it suits him, although in all honesty it’s about the size of smartwatch I prefer and it also suits me well too (and the strap is plenty big enough for me too).
The display can be set so that is wakes on lifting and this works pretty well (although you have to be quite aggressive in lifting your arm for it to function every time).
Messages from WhatApp work well, with room for notifying three new messages.
Equally text messages work well too.
Incoming calls can be shown on the watch but there’s no way to answer them without using your phone to answer them (you can decline them on your watch but there’s no ‘green button’ on the watch to answer them).
The watch can be used to control taking photos on the photo – which is handy for a remote shot.
Music also works well too you can control playback, volume control etc but music doesn’t come through the watch and you can’t seemingly talk through the watch either.
The watch can be used as a simple watch with step counter without downloading the app but if you want the most out of it then the H Band app is required, which is pretty straightforward and has pretty much all the modes you could want as well as changing faces easily and setting the background etc.
Overall it’s a pretty decent watch and very good value (although the price keeps fluctuating) with a good display but seemingly lacks speaker and microphone to make it truly immersive and convenient for calls and music etc. It’s a good starter to the world of smartwatches, especially if you want a ‘smart’ watch without having to use an app for basic functionality.

My son really loves this watch, as he has been wanting to track his steps. He has a phone, but that misses all the steps around the house and stuff that a kid gets while not holding the phone in hand. What caught my attention most about this watch was that it has an app.
Fast forward to having used it a few weeks now.. it’s good for him to count steps. There’s a sticky notification from the ‘H Band’ app that stays in the pull down menu of the phone so the time, so that’s nice at least. But I was really hoping it would sync with the standard health so on the phone (Samsung Health). Unfortunately it does not sync, but still is a great value for the price of the watch! I guess it’s more of just a stepping stone into the smart watch world.

I ordered this for my daughter so we could keep track of her steps. We were just curious as to how much she puts in each day. There’s an app that you have to download in order for it to keep track of your steps and we didn’t really like the idea of the app. The watch was also too big for her. We might give it another try when she gets older.

Can’t go wrong for the price and what you get. I like how this doesn’t come with excessive packaging. Bought the Mgaolo Kids Smart Watch for my nephew’s birthday, and it turned out to be an amazing gift. He’s been using it every day, and I’m impressed with how well it tracks his steps, heart rate, and even sleep patterns. It’s really helped him stay active, and he’s starting to form healthy habits because of it. The watch is also waterproof, so he doesn’t have to take it off when he goes swimming, which he loves.
One of the best features is the battery life—it lasts almost a week on a single charge, so there’s no need for constant recharging. He’s also having a blast with the cute live wallpapers and the built-in tools like the stopwatch, alarm clock, and timer. I appreciate that it can be used without needing a phone or app, making it perfect for his age. But when we do connect it to the app, there are even more fun features to explore. It’s a great combination of fun and practicality, and my nephew couldn’t be happier.

This looks similar to Apple Watch and packing is exactly same, so kidoo was happy comparing the same. Great smart watch to track activity level for this kids with around 14 different activity tracking options. It also tracks kids sleep with different times for deep sleep etc, so help you keeping quality sleep of kid in focus. Comes in elegant colour options and can be chosen as per kid preference. My son wear it in school as well as in outdoor classes and he make sure to hit at lest 10 k steps each day. Hence, it’s a good start for kids to learn and adopt healthy habits early on in life.

What a fab little smartwatch this is, with functions aimed at children, which is great.
For a first smartwatch, this can’t be knocked. It has most of the functions that a budget price adult smartwatch has, and very usefully, this can be used with or without a downloaded app. In fact as a parent you can even set this up to transfer data to the app set up on your own phone, when this watch is in range.
It comes packed in a basic but nicely printed box—not at all a kiddie-style box, if they’re wanting a ‘grown-up watch–and inside is the smartwatch fitted with a silicon strap, plus a dedicated charger.
The charge time isn’t too bad at three hours, and it has a bright, crisp screen to display all the functions. You get a choice of several digital faces to choose from which are stored on the watch, and of course there are more available if you connect to the app. It’s also waterproof, which with kids I think might be a useful feature!
What I particularly like is that the functions are geared towards younger wearers, so the sports modes include things like skipping and table tennis, and the bio-monitors like heart rate and sleep have also been simplified to make them easier to understand for kids. There are some really useful functions too, such as an alarm, a timer, and reminders which can prompt anything as simple as drinking, to taking tablets on time, or getting ready for bed.
If you choose to download the fitness app onto your phone then you can view and record all the functions onto your phone, as well as have access to some extra features and info. However, it doesn’t need the app to function. If you choose not to use the app, then do remember that the info stored on the watch will only be viewable until the next day though, as it resets the charts every 24 hours.
For a kid’s watch this has a ton of functions that they’re going to love getting into, and is a great intro to smartwatches. At this price is a no-brainer for any kid who’s bugging you for one!
