The Celaite Mini Stepper with Resistance Bands is a compact stepper that is ideal for smaller spaces. The stepper came 99% assembled and only required adjustment and placement of the tuning knob on the front of the unit. It also came with a floor mat to save our carpet which is the perfect size for the stepper. This compact stepper is also very light and portable if you plan on moving it around a small space. It’s not an inconvenience and also fits underneath our bed to save space.
During use, the stepper is pretty quiet. As you step, the only noise that comes from it is from the bottom of the step hitting the body of the unit. However, there are bumpers at the bottom of the steps so when they hit the body of the unit the sound is dampened.
There are only 2 concerns that I have regarding this unit and it’s that I wish that the back of the steps had a lip to keep your feet in place as you step. Initially, the steps were a little slippery and my shoes slid off the back. After some time, it’s become less so. In addition, I wish that there was a way to change the resistance of the stepper. There doesn’t seem to be any difference in the stepping motion with regards to adjusting the steps and the knob.
Overall, at this price point, you’re getting a basic stepper. Although this stepper says that it’s adjustable, it seems to be lacking in adjustments. I do like this stepper and its compact design. However, there are a few small adjustments that would make me like it more. In the end, I’d still recommend giving it a try.
