Love the hardware that comes with it. It is very easy to change out the bands. I used all of the new equipment (the screws and bolts). I had no problems, I was worried that I might strip the screws if I tightened them too much. As far as I know nothing is stripped. I like the more rigid feel of this band compared to the band that Suunto provides with the watch but that’s just me. I am going to test it out in the water tonight and depending upon how it does over the next couple of weeks I will update.
One thing I already don’t like is the way the band looks as it sits against the GPS antenna. The original band is fat and almost the thickness of the antenna. This band is thin near the antenna and has a slightly raised lip. I would like to see the thickness of the original band but it’s only aesthetic.

Same quality as the original. Came with replacement screws and nuts and the torx tool. Took all of 5 minutes, (I used the original nuts since they’re already positioned in place).
–Update April 22. Noticed one of the screws and fallen out. I’d kept the original screws so I put one of the originals back in. I tried to re-tighten the others and noticed that all the new screws wouldn’t tighten down completely. The original I put back in did tighten completely so I replaced all the new ones with the originals. Appears the new ones aren’t quite long enough to get them to tighten all the way. Glad I kept the original screws.

Perfect fit as far as original equipment. The band is a little bit stiff initially but I would say it is more durable. Within the EMS field, this watch band gets put to the test daily getting hung up on things occasionally and has not stretched or failed me yet. Definitely worth the money!

And this one has now failed. This is not my daily watch and for this to fail so soon tells me it’s of inferior quality.

The band works, but the material is still and if you prefer to wear it snug, it is uncomfortable. The “soft rubber” isn’t really all that soft. Also, it doesn’t doesn’t sit as smooth and as neatly as the original band at the connection points, but again, it’s a minor sort of thing. Unless you’re OCD like me and you constantly notice that the fit is not quite as neat/flush as the old band, you may not even notice.
All in all, it works for half the price, but you gotta sacrifice something if you only want to spend half of the price.

Love it when a company nails it with a replacement product! This strap is identical to the original, goes on easily and hopefully will outlast the 2yrs I got out of the original keeper bands. Great product!
