I used a similar devices when I started running more than a decade ago which had basic features so when I saw this one I was very intrigued. My son plays soccer so I immediately got this for him. The Playermaker 2.0 is far more advanced than the one I used back in the day. Keeps track of my sons soccer play with different statistics which he finds really useful to improve his game. Would definitely recommend it.

I received the product excited to use, however, because it was bought from Amazon, you cannot activate the product unless following a few steps. I did this and purchased the product again at £0 from playermaker themselves, but still didn’t receive a code making my product useless. I looked further into the subscription and it looks that after the initial 12 months you get with the product, it costs £180 a year, otherwise deeming your product useless. The company don’t like to be transparent enough when it comes to this cost.

The data collected was accurate and valueble to help track improvements. However I think I was unfortunate enough to get a faulty device.
The left foot side stopped working and cannot receive any charge. I find it really difficult to get any support from playermaker as they dont reply to my online chat, facebook messenger or online enquries.
Aside from that, the install and removal of the unit is a bit difficult and the strap after 1 month of usage already shows a bit of damage.

This appears to be a durable and helpful piece of equipment for soccer players. It fits well over the cleat and you can tell by the feel that it will hold up during play while also not feeling like you’re lugging something around with you.
I have not had a chance to utilize the data download feature yet, but I’m really looking forward to utilizing this to evaluate different data metrics for myself and my gameplay.

My son has tried the Playermaker 2.0 Smart Soccer Tracker multiple times now, and while it has some great features, it’s not without its flaws. The tracking metrics are impressive, providing detailed insights into the training, but the tracking feature can be quite finicky and doesn’t always work as expected. It’s frustrating when I’m counting on accurate data and it misses key moments. If everything functioned smoothly, this would definitely be an amazing product. For now, it’s decent but has room for improvement.

Its a good product but the data uploads inconsistently. There have been matches many trainings that i know my player has dribbled, used both feet, etc and the app doesnt show any data for these. Makes me wonder how accurate the overall app data is.

These have really focused my Son on his soccer and what he can do better in training and games. He’s been really interested to know how hard he works and what part of his could be improved, and I think these factors alone make these a great addition to his kit bag.
