Got this monitor for home workouts and it is simple and easy to use. Download the app and get your bluetooth link and you are good to go. If you start it up in the vicinity of a bike or climber, or any other device with an ANT function it may synch with this before the app on your phone. Otherwise, works well and as expected.

This is a remarkable product at a remarkable price. I did a head to head comparison with a 30 day medical grade monitor. The latter costing about $9000! For the average person, the standard summary reporting tools are great. For anyone wanting to do serious analysis, several nice data collection and analysis tools are available for free and can handle millions of observations. Q, R, S, T, P components are are all observable.
At less then $100, I find it absolutely amazing value!

The product doesn’t connect ( brand new bands), sometimes need to “play” with the band for an hour until connects but a day later need to try again some time unsuccessfully.
Really poor technology
Note. I bought in the past at least three and in January of 2024 another three and do not recommend this product. As it works well when working but most of the time is not connecting

This unit is great, very convenient and accurate

Works well. I don’t notice too much difference from some of my other heart rate monitors but I had some applications that required this so I finally treated myself. I don’t know if it’s my watch or the device but sometimes it’s still hangs up for a minute here and there. What’s really odd is my cheap heart rate monitors would hang up in the gym. I’m assuming due to interference. This works great in the gym but when I take it out for a bike ride for some reason it just hangs sometimes.

I take blood pressure medication which lowers my heart rate by quite a bit. I love that I can use the Polar Flow app to adjust the Resting heart rate and HR Max. Go into the app, tap the three dots in the lower right and then tap on your name to get to the page to adjust it. Same for Polar Beat, but instead of the three dots, it will say Settings. Here you can adjust HR Max.

This heart rate monitor is accurate and easy to connect to my PM5 on Concept 2 Rowerg.
But the official Polar apps leaves to be desired. It doesn’t have the most intuitive interface.
The band size runs small. Better refer to the official site for sizing and measurement.

I have owned a couple of H10 chest strap heart rate monitors. It is especially valuable when using Polar fitness equipment. However, I recently moved to an Apple Watch Ultra (version 1). The Apple landscape has really changed with respect to fitness monitoring. I had found that the Apple Watch is not always reliable at heart rate if it’s not put on properly. It has to be on firmly, about an inch or so up the arm from the wrist bone knob. While I have done that, I still have phantom beats (HR reported well beyond my maximum) and occasionally other things during WORKOUTS. I have not 100% resolved good HR reading during workouts. However, all the rest of the day they are fine.
Enter the Polar H10. I decided for workouts that I would just use the strap in conjunction with the watch. So at the beginning of the workout, I pair the H10 in the watch settings using bluetooth. I’m now good to go for the entire workout with 100% reliable success. The reason for getting the latest model H10 was they have allowed the bluetooth to work with multiple devices and also connect with most gym equipment (I believe earlier models were not so versatile). Great combination and now great data!

What I love most about this is how easy it is to sync to the app. MiSun‘s coach said he needed a heart rate monitor where they can track the data app. I looked and looked online. This one seem to have the best reviews so I took a chance I went with it. My son loves it. It works perfectly And something of your heart rate as you work out. I highly recommend this.

There’s nothing to complain about, to be honest. It works flawlessly, connects automatically to TrainerRoad as soon as I put it on (don’t forget to dabble some water on the electrodes first), and it’s very comfortable. I haven’t tried using it for swimming but for all non-water based activities, you can’t go wrong with the H10.
