This heart rate monitor strap is the first I but not being Garmin. The width is perfect and the material is really soft . The back part where the electrodes go look really well made and my first impression is that it is even of a higher quality than the Garmin. Let’s see how it goes after being used and exposed to sweat, heat, soap and wash. Hope it works well and lasts long.

The bottom line is that this is an excellent replacement. It actually fit better than the original strap that came with the HRM. It also fits my old Garmin snugly also, yeah when Garmin was not about all proprietary throw-away business model. For the price of less than $15, I think it is a good deal to extend the lifespan of the HRM devices.
My massive canine friend (weighs 10 and a half pounds and stands 9 and a quarter inches tall) is a strength testing machine. One day he decided to test his dental crushing and shearing strength on my Powerlabs HRM. Luckily, his huge 5-mm long teeth did not damage the monitor itself, but ensured that the strap lay astray in morbid pieces as the electrode innards were exposed.
I searched on amazon using “HRM band replacement” and it gave results for other generic bands. Just when I was going to pull the trigger on one of them, “More items to explore” showed this band, which was cheaper. Sometime I wonder if the Search AI really thinks and recommends the right thing, based on our “purchase history”, but I digress.
I would definitely purchase it again and ensure to keep it away from the gigantic strength testing machine I have inherited.

I most of gotten the one that did not pass inspection because it would not snap into the buttons of my Wahoo Tickr. I tried my old Tickr and it was the same. The holes on the strap were to small to accommodate the male connectors from the Tickr. One star for poor quality control.

I lost my original strap for my Garmin HRM-Dual and didn’t want to spend $35 on a Garmin branded unit, so I took an gamble and bought this before there were any reviews.
So far it works just like the original did. It was comfortable enough on a 90 minute mountain bike ride. I’ve only used it once, but I will update this review if my opinion on it changes.
Update 7/24/20:
Still using the band and it is working fine. I’ve probably put 200 miles on my bike with it so far. It’s comfortable and is holding up well. Probably has held up better than the original Garmin band.
Unfortunately, it looks like the manufacturer almost doubled the price since I purchased it. Can’t say I would pick it over other brands at this price point. Reduced my stars from 5 to 4 due to the drastic increase in cost.
Update 3/5/2021:
Bumping this back up to 5 stars. This band is better than the original Garmin unit that came with my HRM. There are no signs of stretching or loss of elasticity since I have purchased the HRM band.
I’ve worn it for over 1000miles of bike riding. It’s just as accurate as the OEM bands.
It looks like the price has fluctuated and after my longer evaluation I would say the price is great. Don’t hesitate to buy it! No need to pay more for the OEM or brand name units.
Update 1/11/2022:
This unit is still working great. Band is in good shape, no stretching. Comfortable for 3-4hrs rides.
Works flawlessly with Garmin HRM.

I have been wearing chest bands for 9yrs now and they have always been the Garmin Heart Rate bands and I have replaced them numerous times.
I have ran Spartan races, Savage Races, Tough Mudder, and even do the HH100 bicycle race every year and they would eventually all roll up and bunch up and get uncomfortable like a this string around me instead of a band, but I stuck with them due to the fact I only wear the Garmin Fenix watches. Well HOLY GUNSMOKE there is a new Sheriff in town and this chest band rocks. It works perfectly with the Garmin Heart rate sensor and is extremely accurate. I can’t get it to lose its form not matter what I do.
I even did a Spartan race with no shirt just to see if I could trash this and get it to roll over on itself in the mud and water and climbing which had no effect on it.
It was really nice to not feel the chest band.
The price is awesome compared to the Garmin replacement band. Sorry Garmin. I will stay faithful to your watch but your Heart Rate chest band is a distant memory.

The HR strap that came with my Wahoo eventually fell apart. This replacement strap was exactly what I needed and fit this version of the Wahoo perfectly. I actually like this strap better than the original. Great replacement!
