I first used a tool like this while I was in physical therapy. The double rocker does a fantastic job of allowing for a deep stretch of calf muscles and hamstrings. I love how you can stretch both legs at the same time. Would highly recommend if you have tight legs.

I’ve been having issues with tight Achilles and more recently, plantar fasciitis. I heard some people raving about this on a podcast, so I decided to give it a try. This rocker seems to stretch everything well and is easy to use. Anxious to see if it can help alleviate my issues with more use. Definitely glad I got this.

I am able to stretch my calves and hamstrings with this device. I have knee problems and this has helped me to stretch without hurting my knees.

I purchased the ProStretch because I have (had) severe achilles tendonitis in both legs. I had been suffering from achilles pain for over a year and tried everything short of physical therapy to no avail. After consulting an orthopedic specialist and physical therapist I began a two-month physical therapy program. At the PT office, I used a calf stretching system and the therapist recommended a ProStretch for use at home. I purchased the ProStretch from Amazon and started using it within 2 days of my first therapy session. Admittedly, I did experience a lot of soreness at first, but as time went on, I was able to stretch further and further. When I started therapy, I only had about 4 degrees of movement in both ankles . . . after a few weeks, I was at 15 degrees. The ProStretch IN ADDITION TO the other physical therapy I received all helped to restore normal flexibility and helped to alleviate pain. Granted, I don’t want to imply that the ProStretch alone is responsible, because I’m doing a lot of other stretches and exercises, but I will say that it has been great for helping to stretch my calves and restoring flexibility to my ankle area.
A few quick things to note: It doesn’t come with any instructions, but it’s pretty intuitive – just make sure to balance yourself against something pretty substantial at first because until you get used to it, you can be a little wobbly.
Also, make sure to wear some kind of footwear when you’re on it. The heel plates are great for making sure your feet don’t slide off of the back, but if you try it without shoes, the heel plates can be pretty uncomfortable on your feet.
Overall, I love the ProStretch and would recommend it to anybody who needs to stretch their lower legs. I’ll be using one of these the rest of my life to hopefully maintain the flexibility my PT and I have worked so hard to regain. Definitely a purchase that was well-worth every penny.

Have used it just 3x so far and it has made a significant improvement in the pain! Only thing is I am little over the preferred weight so I am nervous of it breaking
UPDATE: This device has been a game changer, the pain and foot troubles are about 80% gone or better and I only use this 2 or 3 times a week…

Just got it. LOVE LOVE LOVE IT!
I’ve had plantar fascitis (PF) since I started running sprints a couple years ago, but didn’t realize that I had an actual “condition”. I just knew my calves were tight, my heels hurt so that it made me limp (esp. when I woke up in the a.m.), and the bottoms of my feet always seemed to be begging for a massage. I only realized I had “plantar fascitis” from reading some Amazon reviews on these stretching devices, and then doing a little research. Too bad Amazon doesn’t allow emojis in their reviews…I deserve an eyeroll or smh for that.
Maybe I didn’t worry about or investigate the pain and limping because it was always very amenable to stretching. If I keep up with my stretching, especially my calves, I go back to normal. No foot symptoms. At least until stuff tightens up real good again.
Biggest problem with stretching my calves is I go barefoot or wear flip-flops a lot. Calf stretching is more difficult without rubber-soled shoes that encase the feet…feet slip on all man-made surfaces or off of flip-flops. So I either had to put shoes on to stretch (which is inconvenient to do several times per day), use a towel instead of my long-lost stretch strap (towels are clunky), or skip regular calf stretching (which is what I usually did).
I bought this thing on a whim, from a suggestion Amazon made when I finally decided to replace the stretch strap. Oh, and after I figured out from the reviews that I had PF.
My short review: best Christmas present I ever bought myself, hands down.
It’s perfect for my average 8.5-sized woman’s foot, and I don’t need to wear shoes to use it. I can hop on anytime.
The stretch is very, very effective. Even better than using a strap. I have no doubt that the excellent stretch combined with the convenience will help keep me PF-free.
I got the double but am now about to buy a single for when I travel.
Highly recommend to anyone who stretches, but especially those plagued with PF!
