Better than having a broken screen! No instructions but it seems to count time and strokes decently. No idea on distance…. No way for my water rower to compare well. Still have some playing around to do with the modes but there are a few! The timer counts a little slower than real time, and it adds a stoke here and there. It auto shuts off after about a minute of no activity…otherwise there is no off switch. I don’t think the Bluetooth does anything but turn on a screen icon. Never planned to use that anyway. Same with heart rate of course. Still worth the buy and wait for it to get across the pond.

Only got this to upgrade my rower so I could use Apps on my iPad through Bluetooth; but the Bluetooth doesn’t work.

I connected the monitor to my rowing machine, but it only counts every 3rd stroke and none of the buttons work when connected.

This isn’t how you assemble a product. Need a return.

Works well. Easy to install.

I searched online and had a hard time finding any info about the computer on the maxkare. Good luck finding a replacement. There are a few dozen machines that are all essentially the same machine, just different brand names.
This Rockville computer works great! I have not tested the Bluetooth function as I don’t need it. The stroke counter seems to be on, but my SPM count was 33-35 on the original computer and the new one says 26-28. Distance seems to read wonderfully. Old times were around 22 mins for my routine and now the new timer is running about 20 mins.
It’s an amazing replacement. My original computer has two wires and I only connected one (the Rockville only has one wire) and it seems to read just fine. Also only put in 2 batteries instead of four and the display and counter work. I think the other two batteries are for the Bluetooth maybe.
The screw holes absolutely did not line up at all. You could drill your mounting arm, or just Velcro the computer to the mounting arm.
Highly recommend replacing yer old computer for something newer.
