I got this for my mom for Mother’s day. We couldn’t pair it for about 3-4 days due to an issue on Samsung’s part with their user portal. (did some digging and it was confirmed via Reddit and Samsung’s forums that their login page was down). Waited a few days and everything was fixed. Everything is synced up and working well.
She has been using the watch for the last couple of months and she loves it. It tracks her steps, she can set her alarms. It has SMS notifications. And it doesn’t need to be charged every damn day. Would recommend for anyone looking for a premium looking/feeling fitness tracker that doesn’t break the bank!

It’s only one month since purchase. If you don’t need all the bells and whistles of the Galaxy Watch, this is the perfect watch, tracker, clock, timer. It also measures you bp and stress. Perfect!

I am beyond satisfied with this watch! I have had multiple budget watches and none of them hit all the marks. Note that I don’t need a speaker or phone call capability and am an amateur for fitness. Here are my hits:
– There are notifications for all my communication apps including SLACK and Discord. Note that it took a reload of the watch and the phone for all apps to show up in the notifications selection list.
– It controls Audible, not just music.
– The current weather is synced to the hour and there is a forecast tile as well.
– The bonus features of taking photos and finding the phone actually work 😉
– You can double click the power button to set quick access for an app and this is perfect for media controls for Audible and music when you need a quick pause.
– It auto starts my workout tracking.
– It is a small form factor and very light to wear, but the screen is large enough to read messages clearly with multiple lines of text. I can’t stand oversized watches, and being 6’1″ and fluffy, size is not an issue :p
– I really like the alarm control on the watch itself. You can set an alarm for the watch, the phone, or both.
– I like the calendar visibilty. I can easily scroll through my daily agenda without having to pull out my phone.
– No issues with the international version. It changed from Spanish to English during sync/upgrade and everything has been great.
– So far the battery is amazing. I fully charged it at 10pm last night, have used it off and on all day, and at 9pm tonight it is still at 92%. This is with monitoring every 10 mins and touch to wake screen.
– The watch is controlled by the Galaxy Wearables app which is much more functional than other interfaces like F Fit or AnyLoop.
– Outstanding price compared to an Apple equivalent or a even a standard FitBit or Galaxy watch.
Meh or misses:
– The watch faces are not super exciting. I would love more modern and dynamic options or more control over customization. I love using my own photo, but then I can’t track time, steps, day/month/date, and battery life at the same time.
Overall, this is a hands down yes recommendation!

09 Sep 2024 — Reduced to 1 star because the band lost connection to my phone twice in one day. The second time it lost connection the phone and band were 6 feet away in a direct line of sight.
The Bluetooth connection is unreliable. In the two weeks I’ve had this watch it has lost connection three times, which means I had to reset the watch three times. Luckily it keeps backups and restoring it after a reset only takes a few minutes, but it’s unacceptable that it’s happened so frequently.
Bluetooth range to my Pixel phone is rather poor, and I often get disconnection warnings. I have to then quickly move back into range or the watch forgets the phone completely and I have to reset it. I have used Android Wear/WearOS, an Apple Watch and Pebbles, but I’ve only had this trouble with Samsung.
When it does work it’s very nice. It’s small and light and tracks sleep quite well. You cannot edit watch faces (i.e. complications) but there must be about 100 watch faces to choose from, so you’re bound to find one you like.
With Always On display turned off I get about 4 or 5 days on a single charge.

Every year a few weeks outside the Fitbit warranty by Fitbit would stop working. I would call support and they would offer me a great deal on a replacement, but after 8 or so times, I’ve had enough. Started looking for a replacement, and found this Fit 3.
I am delighted in its size, performance, and features. I loved it so much, I wanted to buy one for my wife and daughter. After additional research, I learned this device will only work well with Android phones and the apps are not ready for IOS Apple devices. Too bad for my wife and daughter but I have a feeling Samsung is working through the Apple process to get their apps updated. I am not surprised Apple is giving Samsung a hard time either as this will take a lot of money way from the Apple watch people, because I think its better.

Looks nice and basically functions as a watch, monitor pulse, oximeter, sleep tracker and steps. Because Samsung does not support the FIT 3 there is no manual, mobile app, or help online with using the various functions or problems. You have to figure it out on your own. I am not techy and still trying to work on it.
The steps aren’t accurate, so have to take that in consideration. Today, it’s way off- registers 27,000 steps (I barely walked around) and battery must be recharged every 4 days.
Price was good, so OK for now. Will buy a better one soon.
