The Blue Gentleman –
For its price, this is pretty great. We got this after our MaxiClimber, which was about 3 times the price, broke down after about a years use. The quality is overall similar. It’s lightweight, and therefore easy to move around, but overall sturdy. But it the quality is anything like the MaxiClimber, get it with the 3 year extended warranty which offers parts and replacements, which is what we did. With these things, the rollers that they use only have a lifespan of about 4-6 months tops with everyday use.
The only other gripe I have with this is the length of the bars, which are a bit short to really get a full arm extension out of. If you have some heavy duty drill bits, it’s an easy fix. But again, for a less than $100 value, this thing is pretty good.

Set up is easy its partially put together so it doesnt take long to screw it toether, dont forget to fasten the bolts that were pre assembled. It gets a gives a good cardio workout with a mild to moderate resistance. I use it while I watch TV, this is better than NO exercise, would still recommend another hiit or cardio regimen and this for extra or for days where you would have gotten no other exercise. It doesnt seem to fold after its put together but it doesnt take much to drag into another room.

I bought it because a more expensive one started screeching. Well this was even worse. One of the peices near the pedal was shedding plastic and it started screeching and would get stuck while trying to climb. This is what I get for trying to save money. Never again

This lasted barely one month. Started with scraping and requiring multiple applications of WD 40 per half hour workout and then it cracked at the base on both sides. I use it daily for 30- 40 minutes and am 160lbs. Maybe i was wrong to expect it to last longer than one month! Please do not but this, there is no value for the money.

The product is easy to assemble and definitely helps burn calories. It’s also loud, with metal scraping and other squeaky noises. I have to put a towel under it because it leaves a pile of metal shavings on the floor when I use it. I’ve been using it almost every day for about a month and today the digital counter stopped working. (If anyone knows how to fix it, feel free to reply.) I applied an amazon gift card to this, so it didn’t cost me much, and I guess if I look at it that way, I got my money’s worth. Still, it does do what it was designed to – provide a workout. A loud, messy workout of now indeterminate calorie burning amounts.
