The stop watch buttons were too bulky and after less than a week the product stopped working altogether. No data in the screen. Also, there is no “easy” way to replace the battery that I could notice; I didn’t bother to replace it since it looks cheaply made.

The build quality of this device is very sturdy and clean feeling. No sharp edges, all polished shiny and buttons look nicely placed. There is a slight gap in the actuation of the button press, but it almost feels like a two stage gun trigger – you can press the button half way, and any larger movement will click the switch mechanism in. Screen is clear and the light function is handy.
This device is quite hefty, and you may not want this on a neck string bouncing across your chest. It feels great to hold and use as a timing device as a coach or trainer. Plenty of modes for various needs and the buttons / menu options work well enough when navigating.

Minus half star for the blue sticky coating on the buttons- Seems like it should have been able to be peeled off but I had to scrape it off. Once off, buttons were shiny and perfect underneath.

When I received the stopwatch I had a couple of questions about operations. Submitted them and received a tremendous response within a matter of hours. Recently had an operations issue and again the response was fantastic including sending me a replacement watch as the most expedient way of addressing the issue. Love the watch and its customer support.

Cons first: Backlight: Dim, but works in zero light environment (3 seconds). Desperate upgrade to this watch: Make the back light programmable. it is a stopwatch, so be able to set the back light time to more than 3 seconds and once you turn it on, any other button should keep the light on until no more buttons are pressed. it keeps going out and you have to return it on while trying to set it = annoying. Once you turn on the light it should end 3 to 5 seconds after the last button you push so you don’t have to keep pushing it all the time to set it.
Pros: It’s awesome. More awesome than I thought it was. I primarily bought it for countdown use and learned it has more functions in the timer than listed. You can set timer to repeat the countdown automatically and it will display how many times it cycled through the timer. This is especially useful in cooking to remind yourself to stir the pot or turn your bacon every few minutes so you don’t burn anything. You can also set how many seconds the timer beeps when it reaches 0:00 from 2, 5, 10 and 30 seconds.
I bought this specifically to time my meditation sessions and challenge how long I meditate by setting increasing time intervals. Repeat countdown is useful to let you know how long you’ve been meditating for, or to get up and do walking meditation, and with the cycle count you can also time it as well in the timer mode. And because I meditate primarily in the dark the back light function helps a LOT.
LCD display is old school (pre smart phone). Came with half dead battery. WHen the alarm goes off the LCD display dims. Replaced battery and now it doesn’t.
Metronome I think is useful to establish repetition speed. It chirps in beats per minute, from 5 to 320 in five BPM increments. I play the guitar so this doubles as more useful.
Face plate is scratchable plastic. The one I ordered came used, no protective plastic on the face plate, had scratches on it, and it came with a strand of someone’s hair – gross. returned it for a new one! Don’t do that to customers (amazon), like gross!

Just a good solid stopwatch, and rather nostalgic. I like the feel of a metal stopwatch! It’s rugged and durable, so far has proven dependable. I have used it flawlessly this past track season without difficulty. I think this watch will serve me for years. I may buy more for my assistant coaches.

It’s a heavy stopwatch. It’s not hard to figure out how to set the watch up, the directions are easy. The back light is non existent, it’s too dim to notice
