OK these are my first opinions and I will update this if I have problems after a few weeks …
I received the bike today and it needed 2 people to deliver the box to the room of my choice. The first thing to say is it is damned heavy and no way could one man deliver it.
To make this short I’ll just say it is packaged superbly and it is so quick and assemble. Allow 30 mins and this includes making a coffee half way through. The bike is real quality and when built is so sturdy. I did 20 mins just to try out and its so smooth and whisper quiet. My only real complaint are the pedals. They have straps on one side but the other is missing SPD cleat fastenings and I’ve searched all over and can’t get them so basically you need to buy new pedals if you want SPD clip ins on the opposite side to the straps. No way near a deal breaker but the addition of them would be the cherry on the cake.
Anyhow you may have guessed I’m impressed with the quality and the ride so hopefully when I get more miles In the bike will continue to deliver. I will add as a final point there is no screen or any readout so if you want cadence and heat rate you will need to buy something like a Wahoo cadence sensor and I would recommend the Wahoo tickr arm worn heart rate rate monitor paired with a mobile phone and the Wahoo fit app.
Happy riding

Updated comments:
So, I’ve been riding this bike for about an hour and a half everyday for over a week, I added a couple more pics in support of my comments.
-first the water bottle holder is in a much better position, on the right front flywheel spoke. My old bike had the holder in the middle on the diagonal frame by the magnetic resistance adjuster, and this is gross but my sweat always dripped all over it…. Its may be a minor thing, but this no longer happens with my water bottle on the side holder and I don’t have to hang the bottle off the handle bars where I was always hitting it with my hands as I changed position
-I really like the handle bar layout on this bike. I taped on some old winter socks to rest my elbows on and my forearms easily fit the open space between between the surrounding bars (not possible with my old bike.)
-I plan on attaching some exercise bands to the handle bars which are nicely designed to support this idea and will allow me to get some arm workouts in while I am riding.
All in all I am still VERY happy with the bike.
Let me start by saying my handle of “lifetimeworkoutguy” is no exaggeration. I am a 63 year old male who has exercised 5 to 6 times a week since my teenage years..and NO that is NOT an exaggeration and I spent the last ten years of my career working as a part time trainer.
Now for my review:
Back when the pandemic hit and all the gyms closed, I broke down and bought my first home exercise bike. I bought a lower end spin bike with a standard 40 lb flywheel, in the $300 to $400 range. I didn’t much care to buy a better spin bike, as I figured I would be heading back to the gyms when the pandemic abated, and that is pretty much what happened. Story over right? Well not quite, as fate would have it, I developed prostate cancer like many men my age and so it was off for treatment and NO riding for 6 to 12 months. I tried to ride my spin bike soon after the treatments ended, but, it was a no go for reasons you can guess. Anyway, last August I finally got back into regular rides on my OLD low cost spin bike when the crank bearings blew out, being a handy guy, I bought new ones, replaced the old ones and started riding again, then I noticed the rear pully (belt driven) was plastic and it had cracked, probably from the bad bearings, I couldn’t find a new one, the manufacturer would never reply to my pleas for help, so I got out the JB Weld and glued it up as best I could and continued riding. A couple of months after that I noticed it felt like the front bearings on the flywheel were wearing out but before I had the chance to replace those, the frame cracked by the crank……
I have gotten to enjoy working out in my man cave, so I researched bikes again and decided to upgrade and buy this bike. First impressions:
1.) Much sturdier than the old bike.
2.) Heavier
3.) Smoother right out of the box
4.) Better magnetic control
5.) 4-way movement on handle bars (old bike only had up and down, not forward and back, I could never get the spacing right on the old bike, this is a definite improvement for my knees…)
There is no display or anything, no heart monitor, calorie or distance tracking, but I don’t care as I use my smart watch for health monitoring and the timer on my iphone to track my time.
I can’t comment on how long this bike will last, other than to say I rode my LOW COST old bike for 1-2 hours per day and I calculated I had a total of about 1200 hours on it before the frame cracked. The bearings went sooner and the plastic pulley too.
This bike feels like it will last MUCH longer, but that is just a feeling based on almost 50 years of experience. If you are looking for a good ride, good magnetic resistance control, good adjustability to fit different body sizes and a smooth ride that doesn’t have all the electronic bells and whistles, I highly recommend this bike. Granted it is heavy, but I am hoping that means DURABILITY and Sunny is a well known name in the exercise industry, so if there is a problem, parts and service should not be an issue. I give this bike 5 stars on being a quality, pre electronic gadget, basic spin bike that should give you years of trouble free rides. These days, I have come to appreciate being able to ride at home in my man cave, I never thought I would say those words, since I was a real “hit the gym” kinda guy for what seems all my life.
I will come back periodically and update my review as my “rides” and “hours” on this bike add up. Hopefully this bike will be able to handle my daily use for more than the 1200 hours I got out of the cheaper bike i ended up having to retire to the trash heap.
Good luck and keep working out..

My knees started hurting after years of activity playing badminton, gym exercise & speed walking and I have been dealing with inactivity due to arthritis and over worked joints. I have been going to the gym and working out 3 days a week for the last 20 yrs and all of a sudden I was no longer able to do so. Once the swelling went down I needed to start regaining lost muscle and this bike, based on the description, fit the bill so I made the purchase. I started out using it 5 min a day and within a couple of weeks I am back to 30 minutes and going strong. This unit sits in the living room so I can watch videos and peddle. Wish I had this during our COVID period but now that I do I will peddle thru the rainy and dark days, staying active and keep the heart pumping.

PRECIO
CONCLUSION

Hello Everyone, (Original Post made Nov 30th, 2019 on reddit website but want to post it here too as it pertains to this very important purchase. / More updates to the end of the post)
My story..
After reading so many reviews on various websites and considering all my options on various models of spin bikes, I made the following purchases (comments along my purchases for the reasons why I made that selection):
Bike
This great Sunny Health & Fitness Magnetic Belt Drive Indoor Cycling Bike with 300 lb User Weight Limit, 44 lb Flywheel, Cage Pedals and Tablet Holder – SF-B1805
Along reading all the websites, I made an Amazon Wish List, and then used a website called camelcamelcamel that track prices changes on Amazon. The waiting game started!!. This bike went down on Black Friday for 389.99 + tax (24.37) = $414.36. That bike has all that I needed on a spin bike.
I was searching for a bike that is from a reputable company, comfortable seat, that have Magnetic Belt (very reliable-low maintenance), that is sturdy (Weight Limit 300lb), that don’t have any electronic that will be outdated soon, that have a heavy flywheel >40 pounds, and if possible to have either table holder or SPD/Cage Pedals. That bike had everything I wanted except the pedals. If you find that bike with any price on the low $400 buy it. Is the best bike for under <500 based on all the reviews and resources that found.
Pedals
Wellgo E229 Shimano SPD Compatible 9/16″ Thread Spin Bike Pedals
I picked these pedals based on good reviews. They are dual cage and SPD. The bike comes with cage pedals but everyone said that is better to ride with a clip on shoes. For that reason I want to have my options open. If I want to just ride the bike (Zwift, FulGaZ, Rouvy), I’ll use the cage, if I want to do a spin class (Peloton), I’ll use the SPD side. These pedals come with Shimano SPD compatible cleats and is 9/16” thread, perfect for that bike. I got the pedals for 49.90 + tax (3.12) = $53.02
Heavy Duty Equipment Mat & Heart Monitor
Supermats Heavy Duty Equipment Mat 13GS Made in U.S.A. for Indoor Cycles Recumbent Bikes Upright Exercise Bikes and Steppers (2.5 Feet x 5 Feet) (30-Inch x 60-Inch) (76.2 cm x 152.4 cm)
CooSpo Fitness Tracker Ant+ Heart Rate Monitor Chest Strap IP67 Waterproof with Bluetooth for Wahoo Strava Zwift DDP Yoga Map My Ride Peloton Bike
It goes without saying that if you use the bike indoor you need to protect either the carpet or the floor. The Heart Rate monitor have great reviews and it was more reliable that the wahoo monitor that I considered. If you have more money to spend go to a higher Scosche Rhythm monitor that is also a good choice.
The Mat was on sale and the monitor was down 20%. Mat + Monitor 42.78 + 2.68 tax = $45.46
Cadence & Speed Sensors
Wahoo RPM Cycling Speed and Cadence Sensor, Bluetooth/ANT+
It was on sale and I found a video on YouTube of how to place correctly the speed sensor on this spin bike and use it later on Zwift. It cost me 55.99 + 3.50 tax = $59.49
Shoes
Giro Rumble Vr MTB Shoes Mil Spec Olive/Black 44
Solid choice, to be used indoor and outside if needed without a problem. One of the things I liked (beside the price), is that u can walk with the cleats on and be comfortable without a problem walking. They cost me 44.95+Shipping 7.95+tax 2.81 = $55.71
To summarize the prices, it cost me (without any peloton, Zwift, Rouvy, or FulGaz subscriptions): $628.04
Bike $414.36
Pedals $53.02
Heavy Duty Equipment Mat & Heart Monitor $45.46
Cadence & Speed Sensors $59.49
Shoes $55.71
Here is the catch!
Everything should be in my doorstep, in couple days. After using for couple days, I’ll post an update.
Happy Ride to all
Ps. I am doing this to lose weight and finally to feel good for myself. Appreciate in advance all your support and I am here to answer any questions.
***** UPDATE 12/05/2019
Most everything arrived today and started the assembly. Here is my first impressions of all the items:
The bike: The box of the sunny bike is EXTREMELY HEAVY – Don’t attempt to move it alone. I managed to drag it to my garage and slowly bring everything piece by piece to my office inside my house where my bike will be placed. It took me about 2h to get the bike assembled, the instructions are clear (be aware of how to install the pedals – those are tricky). It is a very well made bike, very sturdy. I’ll update more upon my first adjustments and after my first ride.
The Pedals & Shoes: I decided to return both the pedals and the Shoes. It seems that the cage pedals that came with the bike along with my regular gym shoes will do the job instead of using special SPD clips and new shoes for no reason. If i became more active in the future and realize that my interest for cycling grows and really want to invest on shoes and special pedals, then maybe I’ll make the switch. For now, I want to just get started and do it slowly, with a easy clip-on pedals and regular shoes that don’t feel too tight.
ps. The shoes are remarkable and well made but if you order, do yourself a favor and order a size up. They do run small.
Heavy Duty Equipment Mat: Amazing and very durable. My bike already found a good spot on it.
Heart Monitor: Have not arrived yet
Cadence & Speed Sensors: They work like a charm.
That bring the total of my setup from $628.04 to $519.31
Cant wait for my first ride / will post more soon
***** UPDATE 12/14/2019
Fantastic Results!!!!
The heart rate monitor is picked-up by the app and the colored level indicators tell you if you overworking yourself. I managed to stay under the red zone and it showed on the upper left corner of the pelaton digital screen above my cadence number.
Since i send back the pedals and the shoes, I ordered instead a nice Under Armour Men’s Charged Rogue Running Shoe for $44.99 and it works great with the pedals.
Here is what happen,
Couple days ago, on my first ride it was all about getting experience. I did a 10′ fulgaz coast ride (my trial ready to expire) and a 20′ peloton ride. I adjusted my seat and the handlebar several times until i found myself pedaling with comfort. (watched several youtube videos of how to setup your spin bike). Everything went well but I didn’t feel it.
Today, I did something different. I found out that the resistance on the bike has a + and a -. Turn it all way out and count +10 for every full circle starting with the + sign on the 12noon.
When the instructor said, keep your resistance between 20-25 that means that you turn your resistance 2 1/2 times to get to 25. Every full round is +10. Hope that makes sense.
So, the cadence and heart rate is shown on the screen and you’ll figure out the resistance on your own as I did following my proposed method if you like.
I did a 30′ beginner/advance ride and i sweat bullets!!! I burned over 500 calories and felt great. My butt is sore for a little but that can be solved if periodically you try to stand a little on your pedals and ride with lower cadence (it worked for me).
I am currently 258 pounds and my goal is to get to 180. All your blessings, prayers and hope are welcome.
Happy riding
***** FINAL UPDATE 01/18/2020
Everything works as a charm.
The bike is AMAZING. There was a time that i heard some noise but i tighten up the screws at the base and the noise is gone. So, be sure to tight up all screws well.
The heart monitor is a MUST especially with Peloton. It shows you not to over do it.
I start my peloton from 2 times a week down to every other day now. It gets easier as you do it. I did couple beginner riders and now went to advanced beginner. Is an amazing workout. I feel much stronger and did help me along with my diet to lose pounds (still far from my goal but I am confident that will get there).
My last word is, get a bike, put it in a visible area in your way to remind you that you need to ride it, get a heart monitor and sign up for peloton. It will change your life.
God bless you and good luck
