You can stand for serious ‘exertion’ (like on a bike uphill) then, still pedaling, seat again for near-effortless circulation enhancement, tv watching, etc. I love the ‘cross-country-ski stride “opening” the otherwise boring fixed-circle of bike-pedal; a seamless blend. This unit offers a virtual ‘physical meditation’ OR vigorous exertion & immediate back-&-forth option. And WAY easier to assemble than the printed instructions would indicate! (They’re a hot mess of detail overkill–USE THE FORCE, LUKE (the VIDEO!) Also, I thought, since I didn’t see much puff about quiet operation, that this would be squeaky/groany. Not so. It SMOOTH & QUIET!

I really liked the fact that this was small so we could move it from one floor to the next or when we move homes. I also liked the price, however I am 4’11 and even I cannot stride all the way out. it needs about 6 more inches of movement and this would have been perfect
