I have been using this at home now for about 4 weeks. I bought it after breaking my kneecap and being at the point where I could move and start to pedal as required for rehab. It was super easy to put together, really not much to it at all. It worked perfectly out of the box all the functions on the screen work as well. You can either allow the screen mechanism to continue with each use or by pressing the red button on the screen you can erase previous data and start new with each use. I erase after each use because I increase my time for each use. it appears the manufacturer listened to previous complaints/issues and addressed them by first a strap that can be wrapped around the chair behind you to prevent movement. Secondly, they included a rubberized mat to go underneath the peddler to prevent movement as well. And they include Velcro strips to attach to the feet and floor to prevent movement, too. Lastly, although I haven’t had to contact them with any issues, they reach out to make sure you can contact for any concerns. I have noticed an intermittent squeak when using but I imagine I can squirt a little WD40 on it and then take care of that easily. I haven’t used the tension screw yet because I am not there yet on my rehab but I have tried it and it appears to be working. For the price and quick delivery it was well worth my Investment and providing just what I need for my recovery.

This TABEKE Under Desk Bike Pedal Exerciser, is a foldable mini exercise Bike for leg and arm Workouts It comes mostly assembled and has an adjustable tension knob that adds stress to the workout. It’s great for being under your desk, or as I do, use it while watching TV. It’s lightweight and at 74 years of age I can easily move it to where I want it to be.

I think it is a great product but on mine the LCD display stopped working and I wanted to check the batter but I cannot find any way to get into the LCD to check the display and I can not find any way to contact the company to ask them.

I’m certain it would be a lot better it it wasn’t missing the tensioning screw.
Without the screw it’s pretty much useless.

I looked at many, many of these under the desk pedalers. All of them had something people complained about. I looked/researched everyone. The cost didn’t matter. Even the price didn’t matter. Finally, I picked this one and it’s perfect for me.
I have only used mine 4 times so keep that in mind. I’ll update this review if things change. The features I like is that it is truly assembled. All I had to do was unfold it. After reading the reviews, i knew it would slide. They all do, even with the mat that comes with this. I put it against the wall and sit in a chair in front of it. like the fact that it folds so stores easily. It’s made of metal so it’s durable. There is no noise at all. The tracker for time, number of revolutions, etc, works perfectly. Well worth the money.

You will see lots of low-star reviews because the product budges and moves around. At least recently (2023), the company is sending straps with the product so you can strap it to a chair. They also provide instructions on how to do this and use the slip-resistant padding that is also included. Right now, we don’t even need those things because I set Dad up with this on carpet in front of the TV. He is 70 and refuses to be active and just watches TV all day. Now he’s getting circulation in his diabetic legs! He likes that it counts his rotations and gives him a good sense of accomplishment. I noticed some reviews say the screen sometimes gives trouble and you have to keep the battery fresh. To be honest for my situation, it’s not so much about the numbers being perfectly accurate as it is about giving Dad incentive and accomplishment. As far as I can tell, the screen is accurate and the budging is very minimal if any on the carpet by the TV stand. You might want to use this backed up against something just in case, like a wall by your desk.
I gave it 4 stars because of how the straps are installed. You have to use a screwdriver to adjust the straps. They should just be “snap” -able. Plus, if you need the straps at MAX circumference, the plastic piece that hides the screw and makes it look “sleeker” cannot be put back on. This is only a decorative piece, but a design flaw nonetheless. My dad’s feet are big (men’s 10 or 10.5 I believe) but not HUGE, and I could see someone with very large feet not being able to use this at all unless barefoot, which can’t be comfortable. Dad, a diabetic, MUST wear shoes when operating this or he will get micro-cuts and instant cellulitis. Since this product is likely to be used by seniors and others who may have health needs, it should have been designed for more room for shoes. The screwdriver portion just adds another element of someone of poor health/advancing age “needing help” instead of being able to set it up on their own and feeling independent.

I use this for more extended periods (30-40 min sessions) and after the first few times I noticed a weird burning smell. The rubber coverings of silver bars will melt after more than 30 minutes of use. Additionally there is a persistent and loud squeak that occurs after extended use (like more than 30 minutes). I haven’t figured out yet how to troubleshoot this. I’ve tried spraying WD-40 through the hole after removing the resistance knob but it hasn’t solved the problem. Overall it worked well initially but with any sort of extended use you’ll start running into issue.

Had for about 6 months now, use several times per week for a half hour to and hour each time. Just started to make noise and feeling a little loose but still very useable. I am fairly short so it is difficult to find a chair that is the right height, definitely cannot pedal under my desk, have to pull out the chair and sit away from desk which is fine for Zoom meetings etc.

My bestie was moving out of the country and didn’t need hers anymore so I took it since she moved around the time my office decided to have us all work from home. It has been an easy desk bike to use and finally I had to replace it. My inherited one is about 4-5 years old and just in the last 12 months pieces have started falling off and it’s dropping plastic shavings. It still works just fine but since I don’t want my idiot cats that like to lick carpet to digest plastic shavings I had to get a new one.
