I liked the look and functions of this watch, but it broke after 11 months and no longer works. The rose gold plating had also long since chipped and flaked off within the first 6 months. I have been a Timex customer for many years, but sadly their quality has gone down. When I contacted Timex assuming it would be covered under their 1 year manufacturer warranty, they told me I have to pay to ship it to their offshore repair facility and will not receive it back for 2-3 months. That’s pretty poor customer service.

I bought my mom an Apple Watch for Christmas and she loved being able to track her steps and all of the health features but HATED that is was connected to her phone and getting all the notifications which kept her from wearing it. This watch is the perfect solution for anyone who wants to be detached from technology and their phone but also wants the health tracking features! Fits great’s super comfortable and has great features. Also looks sleek and cute without being bulky. 10/10 rec

I like this watch, however, it’s not super accurate. The distance measured much shorter than how far I actually ran & the step counter is about 2x what my Fit inspire says. The heart rate is accurate, but only if you’re standing still… so yes it’s good, but if you’re wanting accurate distance & step measurements this might not be for you

The sole reason why I got this was for it’s ease of battery replacement. Battery life should be as long as they claim, 1 year, since it doesn’t have a lot of smart features. I just needed it for the step counting.
Unfortunately this watch has a terrible implementation for the step count. It counts steps if I merely shake my arm, even arm swings standing in place gets tracked. It counts your arm movement while driving, brushing teeth, you name it. Totally unreliable. I’ve heard of bad step counters on much more costly smartwatches from Suunto so this isn’t a rare issue. I should have gone with the Vivofit 4 instead but I really wanted a full display watch face with day, month and time infographic.
The heart rate monitor is hit or miss, when it does work though the readings agree with my dedicated finger tip SpO2 device. The problem is sometimes it just doesn’t give any readings. It gets tiring to repeat the process to the point your finger starts to ache. Yet another poorly implemented feature.
The watch is fine as a simple lap count, stop watch but then again this watch would be overpriced compared to what’s available for sport watches that will do just fine.

Great watch, easy to use once I downloaded the English instructions from Timex site.
Amazon Customer –
The watch has quite a unique feature of a step counter among LCD digital watches. I know this feature exists on many smart watches, but that comes with a need to charge it every day, while this one is powered by a single button CR2032 battery that needs a replacement once a year or even a couple of years.
That was the reason why we wanted it and no other brand provides such a feature in the line of lady’s watches besides Timex.

This really missed the mark. My Timex Ironman from 20 years ago was great and lasted for many years. This one, without the chest strap, does not measure HR and should not even have the brand Timex. So sad.

All the current watches have to be recharged. Not this bad boy, takes a lickin’ and keeps on ticking’. I love the reliability and worry free battery. Size is just right for my wife’s petite wrist. Timex Rules!

Wanted to give to the wife as a replacement for just basic step tracking…but even though it advertises that function YOU HAVE TO BE IN “WORKOUT MODE” for it to track steps – and that is NOT enabled by default and if you choose ANY OTHER OPTION it kicks you out so…total and complete fail in my eyes. Oh and there is NO manual for it included you have to go figure that out yourself online, thanks TIMEX.

Well- i wanted to save a few pennies and though this one was reasonably priced at a discount for 40 versus some of the other fitness hear-rate monitors out there for about 100. As the old saying goes, you get what you pay for! I wanted to use this piece (and i dont mean time) for measuring my hear rate while jogging to make sure i am in zone 2 etc. Well this is the one thing this time “piece” does not do. You HAVE to NOT MOVE for it to take your heart-rate; kind of looses the whole point! The spent money on the IronMan branding but neglected to put in a little extra tech to take your heart-rate while jogging. Website didnt make it clear. Didnt really test anything else but it was fine to wear, comfortable etc.
Sheri Greidanus –
The gold around the rim started chipping almost immediately. The heart rate function was difficult to use vs a smart watch. It was hard to set in general. Randomly kicked the bucket today after owning for 10 months. Battery still works but can’t set the time. The band held up nice probably the best part of the whole product

Bought it for myself (Mom) but tried it on my son and it looks cool on him. It also counts steps.
Waterproof watch; he went to the beach countless times wearing it.
and TIMEX quality is outstanding.
