I used to own a Fitbit One but the company has stopped making it. I prefer to not to wear a device on my wrist. These clips for the Alta make it wearable clipped to a bra or pocket etc. They’re great quality and work better than Fitbit’s own clips for the One — that is, they hold the Alta more firmly in place. I’m really happy with this option. Delivery was extremely fast. Thank you!
Multi-tasking Genius –
We had the FitBit One and LOVED it, but the only “semi-smart” clip-on activity tracker available these days is the FitBit Zip and that doesn’t do enough for us. We like being able to wear our FitBits more discreetly rather than as an activity-tracker “bracelet”. This is exactly what we were looking for and allows the newer FitBit model to still track properly without having to be worn on the wrist. Our daughters are also able to wear their FitBits during sports games such as soccer and lacrosse because it is on their waistband, cannot get torn off by another player nor get caught on anything (it’s covered by their jerseys), and the referees cannot see them. They are not allowed to wear any “jewelry” so if they were to show up with a FitBit wristband, they would either have to remove it or wouldn’t be able to participate in the game. It’s a no-brainer! They get a LOT of steps in during their games and like to keep track of that.

Some previous reviews talked about clipping this to their pocket or bra, but after trying it out on both of those locations and getting less than 50 steps per day, I moved it to the cuff of my pants. I’ve gotten better results from that, but so far nothing as good as wearing it with a wrist band. It’s possible that the wrist numbers are higher because it’s tracking arm movements when I’m not walking.
Other than that, the quality is good and the Alta snaps in securely.

Overall, this is a great clip. I just have two complaints.
I wish that it was designed so the Fitbit can be charged without removing it from the clip. It’s a bit cumbersome to extract the Fitbit from the clip every few days, especially because Fitbit band allows you to charge without taking the band off.
This isn’t the clip’s fault, but it’s worth knowing before buying. Since you’re not wearing the Fitbit on your wrist, it’s very, very easy to forget and lose the Fitbit. It stays on fine, but when you change clothes it’s extremely easy to forget to swap the clip to your new clothes. I’ve spent a lot of time hunting down the clip, while the band serves as a visual reminder of having your Fitbit on you.
This clip doesn’t track sleep well at all. The band is much better for that.
(Also, I didn’t notice much difference in my step count compared to the band.)

Works well for Fitbit Alta. Strong clip, better than the Fitbit-made Zip clip!
Tip: the silicone fit my Alta perfectly. If your Alta doesn’t fit perfectly, try fiddling with it until you get a feel for how to insert the Alta.

I have different Fitbits, and having monitored step counts on each, I noticed I get a LOT more steps on the ones I wear on my wrist. As many as a couple thousand extra when I am gardening, for example. So I use this on a chain around my neck and have been very happy that counts run similar to my original Fitbit ZIP and a lot less thatn my Charge 2 watch.

This just works great and is well made. I have been wearing it clipped to my waistband for over 2 years (purchased May 2018) and it never moves. I only remove the Fitbit Alta HR for charging. The Fitbit fits tightly inside the clip. For someone who dislikes wearing their fitness tracker on their wrist, this is an easy solution. Very well made for such a low price.

Nice clip! I have trouble with my wrist a d can no longer wear my Alta HR band. But it still worked fine so it would be a shame to buy the new Fitbit that works as a clip. So I was so glad to find this! Works perfectly and the black version especially looks nice!

I was quite pleased with it for the first few months but it fell apart and only lasted about 6 months total. I wore it on a standard men’s belt, put it on and took it off once a day, no extreme sports, fairly normal office routine. Despite that it seemed to do what it needed to. Maybe would work better if it was clipped to something thinner than a belt. I think keeping it in my pocket would work just as well so I may just do that.

I had been looking for a bracelet replacement for my Fitbit several months as I really didn’t come across one that for my personal style. This is the perfect solution for my needs. As I love to wear different formal watches, I can easily clip this on my pants, strap etc and have the best of both worlds!
It’s made really well, strong & durable! Compact size so isn’t bulky at all.
Great price as well! Definitely recommend this product!
