The resistance belt broke. It is made of felt. Total Gym refused to replace it or sell me a new one. $350 down the drain because of a $5 resistance belt. Total Gym suggested I buy a new Cyclo Trainer! What a scam.

I have to admit I was a little apprehensive of this product. I like the Total Gym products and have had one for years, but with the reviews being pretty mixed and I wasn’t sure. About a month in and everything works great. It operates very smooth (which was one of my main concerns). Although I bike ride, I did have to build up the time I cycled, so it was harder than I thought it would be. If I see a decline in it’s operation over time, I will repost, but for now it works great, right out of the box.

Great workout with the cyclo trainer and the Total Gym. The cyclo trainer is very easy to attach. It is very sturdy and easy to use. Pedaling is also smooth and you can read or adjust the digits easily. I feel it will inhance my workouts putting cardio with in. The DVD is also great, to get ideas how to implement it into your daily workouts!

T am surprised at how sturdy this is. I was actually expecting something a little smaller, but was pleasantly surprised when I got a huge box that contained a pretty hefty smaller box. The tension is good even at low levels so this should be good for significant workouts for a long time. I wish you could adjust the tension on the fly, but that’s just a small quibble.
Now I am knocking off a star because the pedal straps are only good if you have smaller feet and also the crescents that are part of the logo design have a really sharp points that stick out. So you have to be careful picking this up because it is heavy and your first instinct might be to grab it on the sides. I also wouldn’t recommend wearing loose fitting long pants. There’s no danger of your legs contacting the sides of the main unit but loose fitting pants may get close enough to get snagged.

Great addition to the total gym! It is easy to take on & off the total gym. Gives a great cardio workout! Machine is quiet! I think I’m going to love this machine!

This thing works your legs out better for cardio than any leg excercise you can do on the total gym. I HIGHLY recommend it. The only downfall is the price. I bought mine with my XLS, and it’s about half the price of the XLS itself. Honestly it’s well worth it. I even use it for my arms and get an incredible, sweat breaking work out. Get it!
