Working from home means it’s tough to get my steps in. I’ve seen the folding WalkingPads, which is a premium brand that’s a bit pricier than what I wanted to pay. Yet I didn’t want a cheapie unit either. After researching and reading reviews, I settled on this mid-priced TODO treadmill.
The unit is as advertised: well made and sturdy construction. Quite light (around 40 lb) and easy to maneuver beneath my desk when I want to use it, and easy to roll it out of the way when I don’t need it (there’s wheels on one end). It’s low profile enough to easily store beneath a bed or sofa.
The unit is operated entirely from a remote control (except for a master physical power switch). I’m always kind of leery of devices with no other controls, but that seems to be the direction of electronics. You can start/stop, change the speed with the remove. The remote has a handy wrist strap. There is a large LED display on the unit that rotates through the various settings during use.
When operating, the unit is quite quiet. The motor emits a high pitch whine that’s not obtrusive. But I do find that the running surface makes a louder “scratching” sound than the WalkingPad, even after I lubricated it. At times it sounds like sandpaper against a surface.
My biggest beef is that you cannot pause your workout without losing all the statistics accumulated during that session! When you press stop, everything clears. I asked the vendor and they seemed to acknowledge that this was a design error. I would deduct at least half a star off my rating due to this.
I am 5′ 9″ and the treadmill is comfortable for a brisk walk, at around 3.0 to 3.5 kph. I haven’t tried running on it. I think it’s possible but you’ll have to be careful. I read somewhere that this is suitable for people up to 5′ 8″. So if you’re tall, walking is the only thing you can do, as running will be too risky.
Overall, I would recommend this unit. It is well designed, fairly priced, and thoughtfully packaged: it comes with a small bottle of lubricant and even a spare battery for the remote! (who gives you an extra battery nowadays?) Emails to the vendor were answered very promptly. Note that there is a one year warranty, with full exchange within 30 days. After that, all the vendor will say is that they’ll do whatever it takes to resolve any issues that occur that that period.

This is a great walking pad. I bought it for use when it’s too hot or too cold to walk outside and it’s definitely been a life saver.
It’s easy to store, it slides right under my bed, and it’s easy to get in and out. The remote is slim and fits in the pocket of my shorts.
The highest speed is a 5 which is enough for a jog for me: I’m 5 ft tall, about 136 lbs. It has held up very well over the last year, with no issues whatsoever. It’s very quiet and I can walk and watch TV or work if I choose to without interruption.
The price point was exactly what I was looking for. It’s very affordable. An excellent option for anyone!

I wanted to get a treadmill to use both in my garage and under my desk and this is really great for both. It’s pretty lightweight and I like how it’s portable because of the wheels on one side that you can just push vertically to the place you want easily. It’s also a good size, not too big or bulky. Been using it for about a month now and the treadmill runs really smoothly, I usually do 30 min walks and it follows through well. The remote is easy to use, I was able to adjust the speed and pause the device when I wanted a break. Love how the motor is very quiet so it’s not distracting. It’s also a more affordable option compared to others I’ve looked into so it’s a great value treadmill!
Overall I would definitely recommended this, it’s easy to operate and gets the job done with no issues.

I’m giving this treadmill 5 stars because you’re getting it for a great and affordable price, and you’re getting a really good workout in.
It’s easy to set up, and I like that it comes with wheels so that you’re able to move it and put it away if needed. All you have to do is turn on the switch, use the little remote that it comes with and you’re good to go.
The things that annoy me… you just have to be careful. The walking pad doesn’t come with bars/handles or anything so you just want to make sure you’re keeping your balance – but then again this is good to help you with your balance. The settings were a bit confusing at first, but it just takes some getting used to.
Other than that, I love this treadmill. You’ll really have a good workout and will feel the soreness after. I’d definitely recommend, especially if you’re looking for something affordable. I’m glad I went with this brand over others that I considered!

I have this set up in my living room so I can use it to watch TV, or easily roll it around and use it to work from home. I do wish that the cord was longer so I don’t have to use an extension cord.

Functions exactly as anticipated. I purchased this for work so I can have an option to walk instead of sitting so much (and with the AZ summers walking outside isn’t always an option). This fits perfectly under my desk/out of the way of my chair when not in use and the sound is minimal. I’ve been on the phone with no issues and have no complaints from any coworkers either. I typically only use this in 20-30 minute increments and haven’t noticed any issues since purchasing this in March. It does have an auto shut off that I discovered when I must have been really in the zone at work (lol) and it slowed my speed until it turned off after about 45 minutes. Compared to other options, this price is pretty great and definitely does the job. Get it!!

Amazon gave me the after sales support email. I sent them a message 2 weeks ago because I don’t know how to program and can’t get the battery cover off the remote. I also asked what units the speed and distance are in. In 2 weeks I have received no reply. I tried the videos for help but they are different from the treadmill and remote I received. The treadmill works ok, for now, but I wouldn’t purchase again because they don’t care to provide any help once you purchased.
Edit 2-19: Bumped up to 4. They finally answered my questions but are telling me distance and speed are both in mph which is not possible if you do the math. There is no way that at 1.0 speed you hit 1.0 distance in 40 minutes if all are mph units. The math doesn’t math! They also said to get the battery compartment open to squeeze the plastic. I don’t know how they think I am going to squeeze something that is made of hard plastic. I finally got the compartment open by prying it with a flat head screwdriver. It is IMPOSSIBLE to open using my hands. I have never had such troubles opening a battery compartment, even child proof ones with tiny screws. And make sure you check your battery if you need to change it. Instruction book says it takes a CR2025 but the battery that came in the remote is CR2032. And the customer service vibe was really strange with them talking about punishing their employee.
3-20-24 – Barely 2 months in and the start button on the remote stopped working making this treadmill nothing but a giant paperweight. I’ve contacted seller. If the seller sends me a new remote I will revise the review to include that information and change rating back to 4 stars.
4-8-24 – I emailed their customer service email, aftersale@todocn.net, on 3/20/24, no response. Then I sent another email on 3/28/24, again no response. As of today, 4/8/24, they have not responded, have not replaced my defective remote, and I have a $165 giant paperweight that is useless. If I could give zero stars I would.

I have had this for about 3 months, and I use it all the time. It is TINY – so easy to fit under my desk and under my bed when not using it. It’s shockingly quiet. You literally can’t hear it outside the room it’s in, even with the door open. It started squeaking after a couple months, but I read the instructions and if you use it as much as I have, it needs to be lubricated often with the included lube. Once I did that, the squeaking slowly went away, and was all good again.
Downside from getting a budget treadmill:
No pause feature. This is more important than I thought it would be. If you let the treadmill run for a while while not on it, the track shifts so you have to adjust it (which is admittedly very easy). Stopping it completely means starting it again completely, and is mildly inconvenient.
But for the price, awesome.

I use this treadmill almost everyday, and it still works great after a few months of use. Its quiet enough that I can use it while my toddler naps (at a pretty fast walking pace). The 2 wheels at the front of the machine make it easy to move when needed. There is a very small learning curve while using a treadmill with no handle, it can sometimes shift under your steps every so slightly if you aren’t centred well enough, but it rarely happens to me anymore once i learnt where to step…My only (slight) issue with the treadmill, is this specific one has no extra buttons on the machine to change modes/start. It is all done with the remote, which would render the treadmill completely useless if it got lost/damaged. So that’s a little bit of a bummer…However, when I first received this treadmill, my remote would not work…BUT after an extremely quick & friendly response from their customer service I did get a new remote sent to me that works perfectly.(within a week it was delivered to me)
TLDR- Great price, great treadmill, fantastic customer service, secure the remote to the treadmill with Velcro-tape so you don’t lose it 🙂

I bought this so I could get my steps in while being productive and not spending all day in my chair. A caveat that I have only used this 3 days in a row for about 40-60 min each day. So, I will update my review if it starts acting up (or remains good!).
Positives:
I really like that it is compact and light. It is very easy to store out of the way and maneuver into place when needed. The remote control is nice and I like how it displays your time, steps, and estimated calories burned. I like that it slowly decreases speed when you stop it. It makes it nice that there are very few barriers to me using it – which will encourage use! I have two floor tiles that go together like a puzzle. I put them down below the treadmill to protect it from the carpet and it has worked great. I really don’t feel like I need handles – very easy to walk and I don’t feel unbalanced.
(For those interested I paired it with the IKEA TROTTEN sit/stand desk and it has been a great combination. It was inexpensive and goes up and down with a crank. All in all about a $700 investment for both pad and desk).
A couple small complaints: I wish there was a pause button (if there is, I haven’t found it). Sometimes I need to hop off to grab something and all I can do is hit “stop” which erases all my tracking data. It also smells heavily of plastic – not burning plastic, but strong plastic. This might just be “new treadmill” smell so I am hoping it will go away but it would be concerning and annoying if it doesn’t. I am short (5’1″) with a small walking footprint, but I still sometimes get too far back. It is very narrow on the sides and not very long. Make sure you keep in mind the measurements of the walking area before ordering because I think this might be problematic for taller people.
Biggest complaint is that it is very loud. If I have over-ear headphones on then I can’t hear it at all, but I can’t use it without them because it’s so obnoxious. It would make it hard to use while on Zoom calls or if someone else is in the room or you aren’t wearing headphones. This is the reason I docked one star, but… you get what you pay for!
