I bought this machine after seeing a few physical therapy YouTubers recommend this type of gentle, gliding motion for improving knee strength and cartilage. I’ve only had the machine for about a week, but I find it relaxing, definitely delivering a mild workout for an unfit senior, and something I can do when the weather is bad. I think it’s the perfect prelude to venturing into a more strenuous fitness program.
Incidentally, there are videos on YouTube that show ways to make the machine an interval training workout, as well as routines for working the upper body while pedaling. So it’s not just “stationary bicycling”.
The machine is attractive, easy to assemble, with necessary tools included. It’s a bit heavy, but that’s necessary for stability. The motion is perfectly smooth, and produces only a faint whirring noise.
The readout is quite handy. I prefer to track minutes, and the KMH monitor is most useful to show you when your effort is flagging and needs to be stepped back up. I am using it for my arms as well, as the smooth motion also seems to be giving my shoulders, elbows and wrists good exercise.
I’m starting all the way at the bottom of the resistance setting. That’s what my knees can handle.

This is perfect for me. I had knee replacement a year ago and keeping the knee exercised is important. If it’s on carpet it slips, but it stays firm on a hard surface. Quite sturdy though a tad heavier than I thought, but very easy to use whenever I desire. The ability to adjust the speed/resistance is good as some days are better than others. Very pleased with the product.

positive: good exercise bike; easy to assemble, very very quiet, stable on carpet surface, pedal forward and backward, develop sweating after 5 min.
negative: could not use under desk; my desk is 73.6 cm high (29 inch) and i am only 157 cm (5’2″) and my knees were hitting the desk, not easy to read the display, the blue back light on the display never lit, the provided batteries do not last long and be careful when changing the batteries, one felt in the device and not been able to retrieve it yet.

I’ve owned a bunch of under desk bikes, but I had specific needs when I bought the YOSUDA Under Desk Bike Pedal Exerciser – I wanted a heavier magnetic pedaler with the cranks as close to the front as possible so when pedaling with my arms, I wouldn’t have to reach forward. Judging by the videos and pics, this was it.
The YOSUDA has a little rubbing noise – probably the belt – but it’s still so quiet that it doesn’t wake up my husband in the next room, and it doesn’t affect the pedaling motion, which is super smooth. I’ve owned the MagneTrainer and the DeskCycle, and they’re both silent and smooth, but for my arms the YOSUDA has a good crank rotation (8″ compared to 10″ with the MagneTrainer), and the pedals are much closer to the front than the DeskCycle. The DeskCycle and MagneTrainer are better built than this bike, but it’s fine, and I love the handle. I’ve owned several $50 and under bikes, but there were universally louder and much less smooth than the YOSUDA.
I found the YOSUDA is also good for pedaling using your feet – it sticks to the floor pretty well when used at low resistance, and the pedaling is smooth. If you turn up the resistance, you may have to put it on a rubber mat to keep in in place, but at lower resistance, it stays where you put it.
My only issue about this is that the display is impossible to read in lower light. Since I use it in lower light, and don’t care about the metrics, I just use the stop watch function on my phone to keep track of my time.
The YOSUDA Under Desk Bike Pedal Exerciser is pretty much what I expected from the description, the pics and the reviews. Mine has a little rubbing noise when I use it, which I wasn’t expecting, but it’s super quiet and otherwise IMO this is a very good pedaler for feet and arms. I got it for $125, and it’s often on sale for that price or a little less, and for what I paid, I’m giving it back the star I removed for the soft rubbing noise and hard-to-see display, putting it back up to 5 stars. If it was $200 or more, I’d give it 4 stars, but it’s a good bike with forward pedals, quiet and smooth operation at a reasonable price, so it gets 5 stars from me.

Please send over the bike once we got the replacement pedal from the support team, which came fairly quickly. And ever since, my mother has been using it faithfully to exercise her knee in preparation for surgery, as well as on the table top to strengthen her upper body. It’s a great little unit, very sturdy and well-made, and the product support team is excellent. The bike is made to last.

Really perfect for me. I have averaged about 50 miles per day and have lost 4 pounds in one week. Really well built and totally silent. I’m 5’8 and I do have to sit in a low chair but it works well and I do computer work and talk on the phone while burning about 1000 calories a day! You can’t beat that. I was looking at more expensive solutions but I won’t look anymore. Completely satisfied.

No problem with shipper. Product came well packed. Not unreasonably difficult to unbox and put together. I recall that it took less than fifteen minutes to assemble. Machine is quiet, is comfortable to operate and actually gets the legs moving and the heart rate going. Easy to move about. It does tend to slightly bounce and slide around on my slick living room carpet, but fortunately, I happened to have a yoga mat laying around, and that solved any problems in that area. Nice product overall!

This is a solid well built indoor exercise machine. We use it daily in the winter time and haven’t had any problems with it. At first I found that it slid along the floor when pedaling but now I position it against a step and it works well. We’re very satisfied with it!

I am a former athlete and long time professional trainer with bone on bone knees. I wanted this unit to simply reduce knee stiffness and provide some painless exercise for the knee joint. This device is well made and worked perfectly. As a gym owner, I would have expected this unit to cost double or triple. In addition, when I got the unit I originally had problems with both cranks. I contacted the company and was willing to purchase two cranks. I messaged the service rep and he provided the cranks FREE and also threw in a “crank puller” as well. I received those items without charge very quickly. Amazing unit and even more amazing customer support.
