This would be good for seniors or light workout. There is no resistance. The pedals move for you. It’s nice and sturdy but the description is misleading because it states this has a manual mode and it doesn’t.

One of the first things I noticed when I received this is how heavy it was. That said, assembling the legs and adding the peddles was fairly straight forward and they provided all the tools. Adding the 4 bolts and washers to the bottom can be a little challenging due to the wonky shape of the top. It was rocking for me until I found a way to brace it so it stayed still long enough for me to get the bolts in it. Once everything was set up, I moved it to a spot near my chair and plugged it in. The cord is 5 foot long, which was enough for it to reach the outlet for me, but your mileage may vary. I would definitely recommend using it somewhere close to an outlet.
Using the device is straight forward. Just turn on the power and either use the remote or the buttons on the top to start it. The remote allows you to adjust the speed, amount of time, and direction. I like that the remote holder is built into the device so I won’t lose it in the cushions.
I will admit that I was hoping that this device would offer the ability to have some resistance with the motorized movement, however, it doesn’t. I have learned to just let it do all the work. If you try to peddle, it will make a whiny noise and stop. This is definitely used more for rehabilitation than for cardio. Overall, it does a good job and is straightforward to use.
